So this is it??

The Browns Board

What good choices have they made?   Some choose to look objectively as opposed to just blindly following the team.  I've been a Browns fan for 40+ years so piss off if you don't like that I'm not going to be satisfied with a team that is 1-23 for the last season and a half.    I don't expect them to bat 1000.  I'd be happy if they were batting .250.    How do our 3 first round picks look?  They're all difference makers right?  Garrett looks great but can't stay on the field.  Njoku is a non factor and we used a first round pick on Peppers who to this point is basically a kick and punt returner great way to spend a 1st round pick.   I'd rather have a return specialist and a project TE than say...I don't know...how about a Shmucking QB??   These guys who thought it has been a good idea to pass on stars are the guys you're relying on to rebuild a 1-23 team.   Good luck with that.   This team sucks and its not any better now than it was before last season.  They aren't building anything but more losses.

Almost all of our draft picks are starters and will have a future with the team. That’s to say nothing of the success in FA and getting picks in trades for the bums on our team.

Garrett is good and so is Njoku. 2/3 on first rounders is pretty solid, especially by Browns standards. So clearly you do expect them to bat 1000.

Aww, we’re all supposed to feel bad for you and let you blow everything up because you’ve been a fan for a long time?  Want a cookie? Get over it and get some control of your emotions.

Njoku is good?  He's got 18 catches in 8 games.   I'll let you do the math on your first round pick that is catching 2 passes a game.   Holy hell....what would we do without those 2 catches a game.

Keep following blindly and not seeing that you're trusting the guys who passed on a legit NFL FRANCHISE QB at the 12th pick in the draft (so they could pick a TE and his 2 catches per game and a return specialist) are the guys making the decisions. And that's just one example of them being stupid and blind to picking players with talent.  They have shown that they don't make good decisions.

No I dont' want a cookie and no one should feel sorry for me but what I want is to see some wins and see a team that is improving.  The only thing that matters is wins.  1-23 is the only stat and the only measurable that makes a shit of difference.

  • Hey! I want to start the official Corey (I miss Braylon) Coleman fan club.

..... I'd give you a hand, but am afraid I would just break it.

Yea, he should just sit there smiling and giving the Browns a golf clap for all of the awesome progress they have made during The Process.

The nerve of some fans who are sick and tired of rooting for a laughing stock that is actually getting worse instead of better.... Total jerks.

Fair enough I think I’ll take a break from the board for a bit, most are you are posting like children at the moment.

If it’s not sarcasm it’s stamp your feet whining and outright refusal to see anything other than a disaster.

    you are a Shmucking moron

  • And for a lighter note. Carson Wentz, NFC player of the month. Deshone Watson, AFC player of the month

Isaac Asimov couldn't make this stuff up.

  • I just watched a sound bite from Jameis Winston's press conference and he went on and on about how "the numbers don't matter" < when asked about some of his positive stats> and how "It's all about wins.... you gotta win baby, that's it."

Guess he wouldn't like The Process any more than most of us do.....

What about Herm Edwards speech about winning?

It seems that everyone not liking the failing process has caused you to develop a terrible yeast infection.

Not everyone bends over and enjoys the flogging like you do. Wins are the metric of success in team sports. No one was expecting more than about 3 wins. At this pace, the Browns might get that in 3-4 years.

  • It looks like the Haslems may be getting tired of failure as well. I guess they should take their emotions and continue to throw money down a well.

Exactly....I wasn't expecting the team to be a playoff team this year but I would like to see improvement in the only stat that matters.  The ones under the W in the standings and so far, this team is no better than last years team.

Bla bla bla. You might actually have a point if your method hadn’t been tried and failed over and over and over and over again by the Browns. Apparently you’re the one that loves to bend over and take the flogging if that’s the route you want to continue down.

Are you really citing frustration by the Haslam’s (which is fueled in no small part by our idiot fans constantly telling him how much we suck and should scrap everything) as some kind of metric of football knowledge? Give me a break.

I'm not the one jerking off a project TE who is making 2 catches a game.

You can’t win this debate. Just give up. I’m lead by facts and logic and you’re led by emotion (like a woman). Just give it up. You’ll never be able to defend it.

you're led by facts?   I've given you the facts.. He's averaging 2 catches a game.     Here's another fact for you.  The team hasn't won a game.  But hey...lets keep trying the same thing over and over again.

You would blow a gasket trying to come up with a third though. And that’s why it’s worthless talking about this with you.

OJ Howard has 13 catches. Evan Engram has 30. And they both have quarterbacks. Njoku is fine for a rookie. But when your fans have no patience whatsoever and want to dump you overboard if you’re not Rob Gronkowski in year one, there’s not much you can do.

1 and fucking 23.    Keep everything the same though.   We shouldn't need any new players though either in your world.  They all just need more time just like our front office needs 3 years to get it right.

  • Yep. As predicted. He tried to come up with a third. He blew the gasket. Realized he’s a doofus then went back to the first two. Way to walk right into it.
