Allen has all the raw materials to mold on the right team. I would not start him like so many others. He needs to sit and learn for at least 1 year.
Like Ag, I've watched about three of Allen's games. He gets a big fail in the accuracy department. 55% completions compared to Mayfield's crazy 68%. I have Baker and Rosen way ahead on my list. Plus, you think Allen is going to get a year to sit? Kizer didn't.

Besides Dalton....who has lost an NFL record 4 playoff games without a win.....has any of the others I listed above even started a playoff game?
Edit: In Checking, both Robert Griffin and Vince Young did start playoff games....and both lost.
So...at least since like this century.....Big 12 QBs are at least 0-6 in NFL playoff games.

TaShaun Gipson played at Wyoming....and he, apparently, wasn't good enough for this FO to keep.
But, on your point....I guess the same could be said for North Dakota St. ....where Wentz played. (Isn't that right?). So, we can't discount those guys just because they didn't go to big traditional schools.

We will see. But, if you think that Elway does not have an ego such that he would be willing to dump his hand chosen future QB.....that is just silly. It would be a long way down the road before Elway admits a mistake like that.

Did u guys see that throw lynch made in the endzone that last game? Ill take hogans noodle arm over that nobsensr. At least hogans throws are the result of arm talent deficiency. Lynch made a throw into a group of nothing but raiders. And its not like it was a deep throw that fluttered and the srcondary converged, it was short throw to the endzone line 10 yds maybe.
