  • If he fires Hue. I would be happy.

I know he can’t. But one can dream

  • Seems to me like Dorsey has known for some period of time that he was eventually going to be our GM.  Probably not a LOONG time...but time enough to figure out that Britt was useless.

This is good.  It gives our new GM 4 games to view, learn and understand the players, coaches, etc. so going into the offseason he's got a huge leg up on if he was hired the first week of January.

He doesn’t seem like a guy that will put up with Sheet.

Hopefully he will see that in Hue. And fire him too

Too bad Jimmy won’t allow that

We know what Jimmuh said....but there's 25% of the season yet to go.   A lot can change in 4 games.

I guess we're going to find out pretty quickly who Sashi's boys are..... 1 down, more to go.

Yup. MHO? Sashi was too proud (or arrogant) to admit he get it "consensus pumpers"? Made a serious mistake. I'll bet there were around 5 others that will come out in the wash that can be laid at his feet. And though I'm not going to repost from my take in another thread- it's multiple instances of major misjudging of talent by the anal-itics guys why Brown is out of town. Golly gee, no friction between the Sashi and coaching staff? LOL!!!!

This is exactly right. This doesn't as much demonstrate the GM taking action as much as it does him supporting his coach. This clearly shows that Sashi and his ego forced Hue to keep Britt on the roster. This was a Hue decision supported by Dorsey.

That song was the first thing that came to my head.

I'm looking forward to do the same stuff you do but with more modern music, hehehe.

  • I like this GM already.

Can't be worse than his predecessor.

Unless we go minus 1 and 17 next year.

  • Nice! Now maybe he will waive kizer so we can maybe win one of these last 4 😉

  • I guess that means Mike Wallace is on deck

  • Don’t get me wrong, Britt sucks, but he’s still one of our top 3 receivers. Stupid move.

    Laughable.

You are bitter when you don't get your way.

Nah, he just reverted to his pre contract year. Actually- you're full of it,    http://www.nfl.com/teams/statistics?team=CLE      read 'em and weep. He's 7th best in receptions, God only knows what his target to catch ratio is- look that one up if you want to- I'm sure as hell not going to waste my time looking. I will bet the ranch it sucks. So we're paying this bum $10 million to sit around, drop passes and collect a big paycheck?

MESSAGE SENT for that kind of $$$ we want better than 18 catches for 233 yards.

    1) Sashi is always right

    2) If Sashi is wrong, refer to #1.

Buy a clue War- it's why Brown got sent packing first.

Yep... Britt sucks but keep him. Made me laugh too

  • Releasing Britt does send a message too.

    Underperform and you're gone!

^^^The statement above is one of the main problems with the Browns.....acceptance of players who are losers results in a losing Team. We have been willing to accept the unacceptable. Those days may (hopefully) be gone. Cutting Britt is a very positive 1st step.

    Mike

Wasted money.  Spend a bit next year and bring in Davante Adams, Jarvis Landry or Moncrief.

  • He defanatly revived this message board.

We have Coleman and Gordon , after that a bucket of turds. No harm at all in lighting the load of Sheet. Seriously Hue would have cut him months ago if it weren't for Sashi that's obvious. Reasons went well beyond just his play, he was disruptive in team meeting, media sessions and practice. He loaded and danced his way to the unemployment line. This was a Hue move approved by a GM who understood locker room and team dynamics.
