***Official Browns Vs. Packers Game Day Thread***
-
Hi, Browns fans!
Our Cleveland Browns continue to seek their first regular season win as they host Aaron Rodgers, and the visiting Green Bay Packers for the first time in 8 years.
Jimmy and Dee Haslam, and the Browns front office, announced last week the Browns wanted the team and franchise wanted to g forward into a new direction, so they announced that Sashi Brown was relieved from his duties as the Browns General General Manager, and John Dorsey took his place as GM.
First move Dorsey did was immediately waived/cut WR Kenny Britt, and promoted DB Justin Currie from the practice squad to the Browns 53-man active roster.
Also Browns DB Jabrill Peppers iis listed as doubtful if he will be game ready to play against the Packers by gametime,Cleveland also seeks to win their first regular season home game over the Green Bay Packers in more than 25 years. Browns last defeated the Packers in the home field by the score of 17-6, the game played at the old Cleveland Municipal Stadium back on October 18, 1992.
Cleveland and Green Bay are only playing for 20th time since the rivary started in 1953. Packers lead the series entering today though 12-7-0.
Kickoff from FirstEnergy Stadium is by 1:05PM Eastern Standard Time.
NO injuries, and GO BROWNS! Win your first game in 2017, for your new GM John Dorsey!!!!

OMG, I can't believe he missed that. He got injured many weeks ago!!!
Anyway, team's situation is sad as every week there is less and less talk about next game and more about the offseason.
Go Browns!

Green Bay is a prime example of why you need a good QB and build around him. With Rodgers...Great, without... mediocre.
-
Kessler is inactive today, so that means Hogan is the backup.
Other notable inactives are:
Danny Shelton
Jabrill Peppers
Boddy-Calhoun
Marcus Martin
Bryce Treggs
Matt Lengel

Rodgers isn't a "good QB."

It sounds like this will be a home game for the Pack. And they're playing for a playoff spot in the cold. Browns best chance is the Bears.

Hundley can't throw? Wow. He's not Rodgers, but I'd keep an eye on this game if i were you.

Saw that as well. No idea why he would be listed at SS.

how is this defense ranked so high?

how is this defense ranked so high?
because it's not? If you think it's ranked high you are looking at the wrong rankings.
-
my mistake then, heard the announcer saying Browns had a "top 10 defense" and was just incredulous
-
Jesus Gordon is a monster. What an incredible difference he makes on the field

a TD pass? what is this?
