So we started the HBO series luck yesterday. Has anyone else seen it? The first episode wasn't particularly impressive even though they sport a top-notch cast.. might give it two or three episodes before bailing on it. 

Anybody know if it gets better as the season rolls long?

When was this made?  I think some time ago.

And actually....yes, I think I did see this.   And, I believe that one of the reasons that only like one season was made is because at least one or more horses were maimed or killed in the making of this series.

I thought it actually got pretty good...(and yes...it got better as it rolled along)..but I think they just made the one season.

The series was cancelled.  They had a couple of horses actually break their legs shooting the show and they had to be killed.  Popularity went down and cancelled.
