I don't think that Dorsey will be trading out of his first round picks...if for no other reason then that's what the previous regime had been doing with such lousy results.

he might trade out of 4. remember depo is still aboard, and that dudes strategy includes trading down.

Ill start with FA and take Alex Smith. He'll ask KC to release him and Dorsey will work his magic. Then, I'll go get Juice Landry. Add Jimmy Graham and franchis Crowell (why not). Give me DeMarcus Lawrence and then were ready to draft.

These get posted all over so why not consolidate into one from now until the draft. Here's my fav of the week. Traded down from #1 to #7 with Tampa Bay for their #7 in rounds 1 and 2 and their 2019 1st rounder. Used all the 2nd round picks and their 2019 plus a few lower round picks to jump up into the 1st round for two extra picks.         Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 4: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA (A+)
              Round 1 Pick 7 (T.B.): Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB/FS, Alabama (A+)
Round 1 Pick 8 (CHI): Derwin James, SS/FS, Florida State (A)
Round 1 Pick 12 (CINN): Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 1: Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma (A-)

Because that’s a lot of money to spend on a running back that your head coach hates, especially with guys like Duke and Saquon in the fold.

I never will do two things in my life 1. make new year's resolutions or 2. get involved with a mock draft......OK I broke #2 already from the SEC Country mock draft (they can't be wrong, ever right?).

NFL mock draft 2018, Round 1

                  1. Cleveland Browns: Sam Darnold, USC QB: The Browns have to use the pick on a quarterback, and we think they’ll choose Darnold.
                  2. New York Giants: Josh Rosen, UCLA QB: Rosen vs. Darnold will be an interesting debate. The UCLA quarterback might be wired to better succeed in New York than Darnold.
                  3. Indianapolis Colts: Connor Williams, Texas T: For the Colts, it’s simple: They must do a better job of protecting Andrew Luck, provided he can return in 2018. As long as Williams can stay healthy, he’ll be a top draft pick.
                  4. Cleveland Browns (via Houston): Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama DB: The Browns went quarterback with their first pick. Next up, they grab the best defensive prospect in the class. Fitzpatrick is a queen-on-the-chessboard-type of defensive back.
                  5. Denver Broncos: Josh Allen, Wyoming QB: Offensive tackle could be the pick here. Drafting Allen here is a risk, but the Denver quarterback situation might be the worst in the league.
                  6. New York Jets: Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma QB: The Jets will continue toiling in mediocrity as long as they lack quality quarterback play. If anyone can handle the spotlight and attention that comes with playing for the Jets, it’s the Heisman Trophy winner.
                  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, N.C. State DE: The Buccaneers have stumbled this season thanks to both Jameis Winston’s struggles and a poor pass rush. Chubb should help shore up the latter of their issues.
                  8. Chicago Bears: Christian Kirk, Texas A&M WR: The Bears almost have to pick a wide receiver. While many will peg Alabama’s Calvin Ridley here, I think Kirk is just a little bit better. But the Bears couldn’t go wrong with either.
                  9. San Francisco 49ers: Saquon Barkley, Penn State RB: With Jimmy Garoppolo looking like the quarterback of the future, San Francisco can draft the best player available, which is the superstar running back from Penn State.
                  10. Oakland Raiders: Roquan Smith, Georgia LB: A defense with Khalil Mack on it shouldn’t be as bad as Oakland’s was this season. Smith is maybe the best off-ball linebacker prospect since Luke Kuechly

WRONG! Why no WR/RB? But then again they do not know if the BROWNS will get another quarterback through other means I'd sure hate to see yet another true rookie QB get thrown into the fire to take two or three years to develop and get killed in the process especially with no steady (or any) WRs that can actually catch the damn ball or run a deep route. Trade the #1 pick and get another first round pick and more good picks?

And what if Flash Gordon falls off the wagon plus he could use a good #2 WR anyway. Oh this is going to be fun for the next three months!

GO BUCKEYES, BROWNS, INDIANS, CAVS, YSU, NAVY and yes I like ND!

If the Browns drafte Christian Kirk,,  they would have both a Christian Kirk and a Christian Kirksey.

                    How bizarre?

I have an answer, if I may, for all those who say he won't drop that low or he won't last till the 2nd, 3rd, or whatever.  If you look at or combine all the decent mock drafts and big boards the pundits put out, there are around 40-50 good players who any of which could conceivably go in the first.  Thus, some of them have to drop unexpectedly.  We never know who they will be, but any of them could have been taken earlier.  Thus, to say he won't last that long, may be true, but then again he may be the 10-15 who do fall.  That is why every mock draft appears at first like that could never happen.

Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 4: Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA (A+)
                            Round 1 Pick 7 (T.B.): Minkah Fitzpatrick, CB/FS, Alabama (A+)
Round 1 Pick 8 (CHI): Derwin James, SS/FS, Florida State (A)
Round 1 Pick 12 (CINN): Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama (A)
Round 3 Pick 1: Baker Mayfield, QB, Oklahoma (A-)
Round 4 Pick 1: Deontay Burnett, WR, Southern California (A-)
Round 4 Pick 28: Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 1: Damon Webb, SS, Ohio State (C)
Round 6 Pick 1: Dimitri Flowers, FB, Oklahoma (A)
                            Round 7 Pick 1: JK Scott, P, Alabama (A+)

                            Your Future Picks:
                            2019 Round 1 Pick
                            2020 Round 1 Pick

Possible yes, probable for maybe the best center in the draft to go second round probably not......and yes there are some unusual drops and maybe more unexpected rises in any draft, that's what makes it so much fun.

In the real draft I expect plenty of movement of packaging picks as well as trading a few out to 2019

The Browns should enter this draft with the mindset of "quality over quantity".

They have a ton of young players already. They don't need to get younger, they need to get better.

Thought I try my 2 defender draft out, Jets offered 1-6,2-5,3-8 for my 4th overall..With the 3-8 Gisecki, might of reached, but the dude caught everything, bookend with Njouku, not quite the level of Gronk/hernandez,but none the less.  WR:Gordon,Wims,St.Brown, coleman. I could live with it.
