cal-totally agree on Sony. Against that kind of D they had to defend him inside and out. Chubb just was not fast enough to get outside, so when he was in Bama played to stack the middle.
I wish we had our pick of the top 53 for the Browns off of both teams. There were some really great players on the field on both of those teams.

1) The Head Coach of Georgia IS Marty Shottenheimer and his QB IS Bernie Kosar. This is a great example where X's and O's are the mar of LOSERS. This fukcking coach literally gave the Championship away.
2) Saban is the greatest Coach in the NCAA today. Equal to Paul Brown, Bear Bryant, Hallas, anyone you want to compare to.

I don't know jack squat about him personally, but I sure as hell wish the Buckeyes played at the consistently high level that Alabama does. You don't see Alabama getting blown out in national championships games like Clemson did to OSU, or losing to schidt like IOWA by blowout scores.

Dude, Georgia got away with a ridiculous flubbed FG that allowed them to get to over time. THere were plenty of calls that could have gone against Georgia as well. Fukcing second guessers are the worst. Hell man, the Browns are a 12 - 4 team if only the refs didn't blow so many calls, and we dropped so many balls................ if only if only......

Hell the guy that got burned on defense (Brown) in the first half was considered the best overall player in Texas regardless of position and finally got to play a little more as senior this year. Those guys are just loaded with talent in every position. They won despite missing their very best ILB. Why do they get so many? Because players know that by the time the leave they will be NFL ready. Saban demands it of them.

No, I've researched it. It goes back to 1961. And the guy prior to that didn't win 10 games, but the 4 prior to him did. So really it's 12 of the last 13 coaches there have had a 10-win season. Incredible.

No coach in the history of college football, including Paul Brown can match this guy's performance. I don't care if you like him, that isn't wtf we are talking about. I can admire and respect a team that has done well. But you go far beyond that. You glom onto winning programs as if you had been loyal fans of a program/team through thick and thin. But you are just a bandwagon jumper. And you show disrespect and disdain for programs that are not at the top of their game....even if that team is one where you did/should hold loyalty to. That is being a FRAK.
And there is nothing wrong with telling it like it is: Saban was a failure in the Big Ten as HC....he was a failure as the HC of the Dolphins. If he was such a great coach then why did he not succeed mightily in those spots? He only succeeded in the SEC. Why oh why?
