Crap plus Cousins hand just got stronger. PLEASE brownies land someone!

Sign Kirk. Draft better players. No Qb is as good as Kirk. Right now

LaCanfora just said on twitter that Cousins is looking at a $120 million deal and thinks its the Jets.

Look if the browns don't land cousins I can understand. But with this in mind they better be opening the vault trying.

And do we have to wait until march to make anything official?

calfoxwc

nah. A. J. McCarron will be a FA soon. Cousin's stock will drop - he'll go to Denver.?

The #Chiefs traded QB Alex Smith to the #Redskins for a 2018 third-round pick and a player to be named tomorrow, sources say. Solid return, regardless of who the player is.

Yes..none of this is even official till the league year opens in March.

MLD Woody

Depending on the player, I hope we offered at least that for Smith.

I was listening to Cousins's interview on Jim Rome today when he said his top priority is winning and getting to the Super Bowl... sure didn't sound like he would even consider the Browns...

Oh well... 2-3 more years of garbage...

Louisville Slugger

I like the skins fans that showed up on this board but it looks like their in for a long season. With the lack of talent on their team, replacing cousins with Smith they'll be lucky to win 5 games

Seriously, what 'valued' veteran QB in their right mind would WANT to come to the Browns? We're 1-31....and we KEPT the coach that got us there.

We really have only the draft option.......and/or a Josh McCown type.

Players like Cousins don't BECOME a free agent until March 14th.

And then people wonder why stories of rosen Darnold etc not wanting to come here exist.

Apparently Smith didn't want to be here either

Pretty much the reality I've come to accept.

It's always the 800 lb gorilla in the room. We don't want to acknowledge it...because it IS painful....but That's The Fact, Jack.

We have to DRAFT ourselves a QB...and let him sit behind....um....er....Kizer?....and learn? Well, anyway, we have to draft ourselves a QB. (we SHOULD'VE done it when Wentz was coming out....while we still had a shred of respectability)
