Defense doesn't win schidt. Defense didn't come up with a big play at all tonight. Brady fumbled because he holds on to the ball too long. At the end of the day, the Patriots lost because of Tom Brady. The ball was in his hands, and he couldn't get it done.

The 49ers had Rice Montana Craig Taylor Jones. The Cowboys had Aikman Smith Irvin Novacek. The Dolphins had Griese Warfield Kick Csonka. Still, you gotta have someone to tackle these guys or it turns into NBA. Brandon Graham is a good pass rusher and Brady did keep it a bit long cause he was trying to make something happen there. Gunz41, I can't disagree with any of your points. And btw Goolie, the Patriots will be back next year. As long as the Patriots are in our division, the Steelers will not a win another SB. And my wife didn't even want to watch the SB last night because the refs always give them calls. But not last night. Agree completely with Gunz41, at least a couple calls could've gone NE's way and changed the game. But that's life. Pats will be back next season and will win the SB then, and the Steelers (=my wife and apparently some of you) fans will boo hoo again.

Go watch the play again on nfl.com. There was less than 3 seconds from the time the ball was snapped until Brady got hit. All day? My a$$. BTW, holds the ball too long? What started out as a decent post ended up a garbage heap.
Since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger, the Steelers have the most: Division Titles (23) Playoff Berths (31) Playoff Wins (35) Playoff Games (58), Super Bowl wins (6), regular season wins, and the fewest losing seasons (9). Steelers clearly the most successful team since the merger.
The question should be do the Patriots compare to the Steelers.
