Sam Shade sounds like a character from the old Dragnet TV series
.not much out there on this Sargent Shade..Sam Shade did play 1 season while Amos(STC) coached him at Alabama.Sam won a ring once Amos left Bama. After Sam's 2 NFL teams as a player. Shade did do some small school coaching at Samford & Georgia State with DB's which Panthers found a starter in CB James Bradbury. And 49'ers a SS in Jaquiski Tartt
