I like how DJ and Maylock were comparing Michel to Kamara. And Penny can really fly too. Some good backs gonna be there in rd 2.

I was amazed - Michel was pumping iron, Barkley was pumping iron.... interesting.

and...how many reps on the bench press did Orlando do? 14 or something like that?

How can you possibly not support Barkley at 4?? I think you are going to be pretty pissed because I  convinced we are taking him at 1 and a QB at 4 or later.

Then why wasn't his yds/carry much better? Michel's at 7.9 this year were off the charts.

            Just not buying.

Michel is my 2nd favorite. He's a beast. I'll also agree that no chance Barkley is making it to pick 4.

back then, I had Sony Michel in my mock draft in the second round. Now, he may not make it there.

I didn't know he was that strong for his size. Wow.

just got through 1st set of OL..O.Brown would have been better to skip combine all together. Come see my pro day..LG Will Hernandez was a fun kid to watch at senior bowl week..we may not be in the G market? but if this kid can take one more step left to LT? (or kick Bitonio to LT, Will stays at LG) he's got size, tude & some dancing bear feet..

so did Ballage. ran third-best 4.46. but only

" Barkley also hit 29 reps on the bench press, leaving Ballage (15) and Richard (12) far behind.

                        reps were...15.

We'll see how it goes. I think Ballage could be the rb steal of the draft.

Like a weightlifting coach told me years ago.  "when we start playing sports laying flat on our back in a vertical line... Then I'll start having my athletes bench more."

Not that meaningful in the big picture

He was non existent in many games this season for being so physically dominant. He wasn't even the most dominating back in the Big Ten. Two true freshmen were. Taylor and Dobbins. Dobbins had to split time with Weber, and he still out rushed Saquon.

190 lb Bryce Love crushed him in YPC and total yardage. Granted, I think Love is absolutely amazing.... but still.

Interesting if you sort by YPC, Love, Penny and Michel are all in a row near the top. Barkley isn't even in the top 50.

Too much hype for a guy who gets tackled too easily and just hits a HR now and then to boost his average. Now Michel is just a damn tough runner who gets yds after first contact and has great vision/cutting ability. I think we have to trade up into the 1st to get him though. Maylock gets it.

                                https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/sports/Penny-Helps-Draft-Stock-at-NFL-Combine-475718673.html

"Penny also showed good hands in the passing drills and had solid if not spectacular numbers in the bench press (13 reps at 225 pounds), vertical jump (32.5 inches), and broad jump (120 inches). But it was the pure speed that he needed to show he did that, clocking a time that’s a hundredth of a second faster than Ezekiel Elliott ran two years ago.In fact, Elliott is an interesting comparison to Penny. They’re the same size, ran the same times, had the same vertical jumps, and Penny’s broad jump was two inches better … yet Elliott was a consensus top-5 pick while Penny is trying solidify his standing as a 2nd-round selection."

Penny and Michel are better RB's than Saquon. It's interesting that Penny and Zeke are almost identical stat wise, when Penny considers Zeke one of his biggest influences.

Side note- I saw Bill Polian talking about Mayfield, and he said "He better get good at holding a clipboard and getting coffee, cuz that's what he'll be doing in the NFL." LOL

I was amazed - Michel was pumping iron, Barkley was pumping iron.... interesting.

and...how many reps on the bench press did Orlando do? 14 or something like that?

Orlando just cost himself millions with that incredibly lousy performance. Looked like one of Ghoolie's Sumo wrestlers running and doing the drills. Doubtless knocked himself out of the first round. OK, in my 20s, I couldn't do 14 reps at 225. (Tennis player weakling) But I sure as hell could do better than a 19" vertical and a 5.8 40. Question is will Eisen post a better 40 on Monday?  😆

Then why wasn't his yds/carry much better? Michel's at 7.9 this year were off the charts.

                                    Just not buying.

As hard as it is for me to get excited about Big 12 QBs because of the offenses run in that league, the same applies to OLinemen,. Many of them struggle making the transition to the NFL, specifically in the run game, because they are in the two point stance all game and their offense basically has them getting in the way of someone for a second or so in the run game, instead of driving the defensive player off the LOS.

                                      Draft Wisconsin OLinemen.

Brown has Cam Erving written all over him. What a pathetic showing yesterday. He should contract out to rep the Pillsbury Doughboy while his stock is high. Or IHOP pancakes.

How can you possibly not support Barkley at 4?? I think you are going to be pretty pissed because I  convinced we are taking him at 1 and a QB at 4 or later.

                                          Barkley is gone before 4.
