I think the bottom line here, Woodrow, is that both parties are far from perfect but for myself in most cases I prefer the Republican stated position. Even though I'll be one of the first to admit it's hard to trust them. Just harder to trust Democrats I guess.

Both suck, I agree. A third, moderate party would probably clean up. A republican party that drops the decades old social policies. Something like that.
The point of my post being, out of all of the things Trump has said that conservatives on here have supported,this is probably the one thing that, if Obama said it, they'd get the most enraged over.
