Josh Cribbs working for the Browns is definitely a good thing.

Josh is a great cleveland brown.
now if only we can get Phil Dawson back someday to coach kickers.

Phil Dawson doesn't strike me as the type to get into coaching.. I think he'd rather be somewhere fishing...

great news for the Browns, finally someone who is passionate about this team who can whip these young guys into shape. I am beginning to get that springtime "things are looking up this season" feeling, hope the Browns don't ruin it by October

Great post (other than the lingering worry at the close).
You stated it perfectly about Josh being passionate. He IS, and ALWAYS HAS BEEN a Brown!!!

Problem is this: Josh's greatest skill was in Kickoff returning....and the league has consciously tried to make the kickoff return a thing of the past. But hopefully....he can apply some of his knowledge and passion and apply it to punt returns and to Peppers...or whomever else will be back there returning punts.

I sincerely hope it will be this guy returning both.
Christian Kirk 38 punt returns with 6 for TDs in his college career. And a 100 yd ko return for a TD too. Very good slot player to boot. Go watch his combine gauntlet catching.

Only if they don't drink themselves under the table. BTW Von Miller has an ongoing friendship with JM and having once been into drugs himself, is mentoring him on staying clean/sober. He thinks that he will rise through the Spring NFL 2 game season, spend time proving it's real in the CFL and make an excellent return to the NFL in a couple of quality CFL years.
Kirk on the other hand is just like Garrett in maintaining a quality character all the way from childhood thru the interviews he shined in at the combine. Not a mark anywhere and if you watched the combine gauntlet drills, some of the best hands anywhere. Effortless. His idol is Larry Fitzgerald except he has better speed.
EDIT: I don't think we need him as much as we did before we picked up the slot guy we have been missing in Landry. But he does bring better return skills than Peppers.

Gonna have to move up into the 1st to get Kirk after that combine. Depends on who we have by the time we get that high and also who is left at RB that we can use one of our 2nds on.
same worry I have here.moving up..We moved from 33 to 29 with packers last season for a 4.1..we got one of them.. right?
