That's a hefty price for a receiver who was 4th in catches on his last team.......$48m with $30m guaranteed
-
12 and 22? Enough?
Per the traditional draft value chart......#4 = 1800 points. #12 = 1200 pts. #22 = 780 Total of 1980 points for our 1800 pts.
Bills would probably want something back worth 180 points. That would be a mid 3rd rounder. But Browns, after a late 2d rounder, which they should not give up.....do not have anything until mid 4th round.
Someone would have to throw in David Putney.
You mean David God damn Putney

Allen Robinson is signing for the Bears
Edit - Three years $42m with $25m guaranteed.

Trubisky gets a weapon!!
And, yes, FYI....if Trubisky were in this draft....he would be pretty much the consensus #1 QB to take.

One source that I quoted elsewhere had Norwell as THE #1 best available Free Agent at any position. Over any QBs or anyone.
The Jags are going to be a serious threat to take the whole enchilada. Not that they were not that last year.

Excited for the Bears?
Trub had a 6.3 draft grade from NFL.com ... Darnold has a 7.0. And more tape against more quality opponents ... so not sure Trub would be a "consensus" this year...

49ers sign Richburg after he leaves the Giants
As it stands their best lineman is Eric Flowers , and he is about as useful as a daffodil plant

I think...if he were in this draft....that he would be a better choice than the grab bag of guys we have to choose from now.

Why so?

So as expected ....
Bress staying with Saints
Keenum to Broncs
Cousins to Vikes
That leaves the teams in the QB market that we all thought would be in the QB market. It'll be interesting to see who tires to trade with Colts and Giants to get ahead of our second pick ... But I don't think Giants will bite with their eye on Barkley.

A fully guaranteed contract for Cousins, would expect most contracts to follow suit, players will want parity on that front.

Bills Cards and Jets might have to trade up to 2 or 3 for a QB which means we will get Barkley or Chubb

A few more
Amendola signing with the Dolphins
Sam Bradford going to Arizona

No done deal though on Cousins, yet. Is there? If so...link?
I see where it is reported about Keenum...and Brees...but not Cousins.
Jets could still throw a pile of cash at him that he could bite on, no?

IF Cousins goes to Vikings....and IF Keenum goes to Broncos...and IF Bradford goes to AZ.....where does that leave the Jets...in terms of QB?
Do they just stick with the Hack...and Petty....and whatever they get at 5...or is it 6....or if they trade up? Sign McCown for another year as tutor?
-
Breeland to the Panthers, one we’ve been linked with
-
Packers sign Jimmy Graham and release Jordy Nelson, big name moves
