Well, there are now Browns decision makers who know the weaknesses of the Browns like the back of their hand.
Going to be a very, very different football team competitively.

Steeler fans must be $hitting themselves.
Ya, its a bunch of speculation, but what if this works? I pick Cleveland to split with every team in the AFCN.

Yes, I'm sure they are shaking in their boots because their 0-16 rival signed a cornerback most Browns fans admit they've never heard of.

Well, I looked this up and some other stuff - before I posted - because I DIDN'T know who he was, our special teams took a step backwards, he can be a special teams ace,
and he could be a good nickle back, etc. He who laughs last, laughs best. LOL

I wonder who the odd men out in the secondary now. We added 3 plus you still have Howard Wilson from last year, thats basically 4 new guys in that group.

25. Cleveland Browns
(previous ranking: 19)
The Browns haven’t done much well this season, and special teams as a whole are no exception. That said, rookie kicker Zane Gonzalez has made an analytically-sound approach to the new kickoff rule, averaging a distance of just 61.7 on 43 kickoffs and yielding an averaging starting field position of just the 22.3-yard line.
so they hired a new special teams coordinator.
Browns hire Amos Jones as special teams coordinator – ProFootballTalk
profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/.../browns-hire-amos-jones-as-special-teams-coordinato...Jan 18, 2018 - The Browns have hired Amos Jones as their special teams coordinator, Alex Marvez of the Sporting News reports. Jones replaces long-time special teams coach Chris Tabor, who left after seven seasons for the same position in Chicago.
and they hired Josh Cribbs as a special teams intern.

BBC is a very good slot CB, this one baffles me

Nothing wrong with having depth...and competition. That is the way I see this.
Also....since we signed now 3 DBs as FAs.....this might be a hint that the Browns may not be after either of the DBs....Minkah/Derwin at #4. (Or it could mean a trade down...depending on who is still on the board)
But, of course, that thinking could be completely wrong.

How many years have the Browns been a pushover and guaranteed win for them?
You mean to tell me that things havent changed? I stand by my prediction that the Browns will go split with every team in the division.

Maybe...but he still will have to compete. I don't think a starting position will be handed to him.
