Pink slips

I figured there would be some attrition in the secondary with 3 new adds pplus Wilson wasnt room for everybody. I suspect there are more to come.

At least if you get cut...it should be by someone that looks like this:

Yes then you can have a dumb look and a smile on your face as you leave.
GO BUCKEYES, BROWNS, INDIANS, CAVS, YSU, NAVY and yes I like ND! -
Dorsey isn’t fooling around. He watched enough tape on this team and now guys are shown the door

With McCourty being cut I expect Randall to stay at corner and Dorsey is planning on bringing in Mathieu or trade for Earl Thomas. Doesn't make sense to cut him with his contract
-
Did you mean Pink Slips?
Not surprising on Coates......but is he really any worse than Higgins/Louis?

Yes

Randall said in his presser that he is here to play free safety

Well....be it he, or Peppers, or a draftee like Minkah.....I just want someone that can do it... and oh, yea.....picking a few balls off here and there would help.

Randall is aggressive he likes to take chances so he will at least give it a shot which we know Greg Williams loves

If they are dead set on playing him at FS then #4 will be either Fitz(@CB), Ward, or Alexander. Does Williams prefer press corners or zone? Last year they played off alot but that MAY be due to talent and not necessarily his scheme

Only names are Coates and McCourty.....but again, they are saying McCourty is a trade....not a termination.

I’m hearing McCourtey traded to Pats instead of just cut.
Swapping low picks too.

Yes... traded PFF's #23 CB in the league for a bag of beans... BRILLIANT!
Otherwise ditched Coates and what was our PS... nothing earthshaking there.

They brought in the #21 [Carrie] who's 4 years younger.
I'm not sure what the plan is/was with Terrance Mitchell - he must have naked pictures of Dorsey because he is.. not good. Decent backup but.. Does that mean Jamar Taylor starts again?
At least they aren't making nonsense signings like DJ Hayden..

As I alluded to in my response to "Browns Blowing Cap" thread. We had 85 guys under current contract- WAY too many. I'll bet we just cleared around $10 million in cap space with these moves....

But Tour we gotta get younger!!! Can't have any of those old geezers on this team.
But seriously- a decent CB on a bargain basement contract? Sort of a head scratcher.

And they still have a boatload of potential draftees......or more potential trades depending on how you look at it.
Geeezzz this is like the NCAA scholarship limits, hitting some kind of maximum number of people limit. Sure is exciting huh.
