2018 NFL DRAFT - DAY THREE - rounds 4 through 7 and pick #256
-
Well if you draft someone I would say that means you don't think you can get them as UDFA...
-
6'2" sub 4.4 40 with long arms and very decent hands. But if you are familiar with how screwed up the A&M QB situation has been since JM left, you'd know you never got to see his best. It's been a nightmare. Ratley was the guy to clear it out for Kirk underneath so he just did not get enough accurate passes thrown his way. Our QBs other than the one who broke his leg in the UCLA game, sucked big time. The Browns apparently figured all that into their evaluation.
I'm glad we gave him a shot.

Browns select....Simeon Thomas, CB
-
Browns select CB Simeon Thomas LSU
-
He was one of the 30 prospect visits.. so even though he should have been UDFA they picked him due to familiarity
Louisiana Lafayette not LSU
-
Might more likely be a S.
-
Simeon Thomas also does not appear on either of the draft tech top 300 nor the CBS top 250

I was thinking that too when I saw that he's 6'3"

It's been fun. Hope Ratley contributes enough to get more of the JM jinx off my back.

-
Last Browns pick?
-
CB Simeon Thomas is the definition of a "traits" pick:
6-3 1/2, 190 pounds
35 1/4 arms
4.46 40-yd dash, 39" vert, 11'03" broad, 7.00 3-cone -
Correct me if I'm wrong but that is the last pic that the Browns have in this draft right
-
For those asking for his other numbers: 1.60 10-yard, 2.62 20-yard, 4.28 SS, 11.23 LS, 4 bench. 82 1/2 wing, 9 1/8 hand

If he makes the Hall of Fame that might do it maybe.
