Well to me.. LaBoob is "Just another star" in LA.... I mean what can he offer besides having the ability to play basketball...???...
Well....here is a comprehensive list of what he has contributed so far to the entertainment industry. To be honest with you, nothing much here floats my boat. About the best thing that I can see is basically his own story. 90% of this is about being young and growing up black in America. So, OK, I can't relate. I guess I should ask my nephew how much he can relate to, seeing that he and LeBron went to school together for like 6 years. I doubt there is a lot.

Like you.. I saw nothing to get excited about..... Good for him.. I think the team can focus without his drama and put a "TEAM" together.. Altman has his work cut out for him.... I'm hopeful the Browns will improve.... Time will tell.. Life goes on , either way....

No, because you are being a dumbarse. LeBron IS moonstruck with Hollywooditis......but I never claimed that is all he was. Certainly he has been able to utilize his fame to make all those endorsement deals, and to do a lot of good things as outlined. Based on what you related, he could have been dumbstruck with politics....or any number of other eleomossynary endeavors; but that is not what he wants. He wants Hollywood. He could run for Mayor, or Congress. His record of activism...as you demonstrate could make him as qualified as anyone else. Maybe when the Lakers team turns bad, as they may, and the Hollywood production stuff sizzles out, which it could if he does not do better with his material, he may come back here and do that.

Indians 2016 in WS Game 7, 2017 won 102 games including a once in a century 22 game win streak......not exactly a big fat ZERO in 30 team league.
Browns well couldn't hit a bull in the azz with a shovel -but- they will be better than -0- wins next season, bet on it!

Maybe they're chatting about the school for underprivileged children he just built or maybe the college educations he committed to pay for or who knows what other philanthropic endeavors he's involved in. He has sitdowns with people in all levels of business and politics.
Maybe AL and Leonardo wanted his autograph.
Besides they do eat lunch in LaLa land.....that is where he works now.
