Near and dear to my heart and to the many Venezuelan friends I have who had to flee the country these last few years.
Good for Nikki Haley and yes, even for Donald who supports her efforts. F'n once elected dictators stole a democracy and ruined it economically.
They took over the supreme court, changed the constitution so they would always stay in power and then took over the press while jailing opposition leaders without trial.

Tex as much as you are concerned for the failed socialist Venezuela state you should be more worried IMO about the socialists democrats in this country gaining power. The dems have taken a hard turn to the left and are more socialist and vocal about it now than ever, Their socialist policies will bring this country down quicker than anything Trump could ever do.

I don't support 'em at all. But right now I am more concerned with saving the institutions of our constitutional democracy currently under attack for the sake of a self involved man who would be king. As I said above I will be looking for a better Republican to support in the primaries for 2020. We MUST stop this assault. When a better person rises as a viable potential candidate, I'm volunteering to help out in my state with whatever thing I can do, even if that means becoming a stamp licker for mailouts or a poster tacker for telephone poles.

They diss and disregard our Constitution, their judges reflect that all the way to SCOTUS, stealing our democracy with flooding our electoral process with bogus, uneducated and dependent voters, and just b. sander's giveaway free hc plan will cost at least 30 TRILLION.
We already have over 20 TRILLION in debt. So, Pres Trump is the ONLY one who is trying to cut back our debt. and granted, all dems and a bunch of reps will not help because they still play politics for the elections they will face eventually.
20 trillion + 30 trillion is 50 trillion, Tex. In 2013, Venezuela was 890 Billion, Tex.

We are in serious trouble. There also is said to be about 100 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities. We know for example that the government has taken the money from the social security trust fund and replaced the money with an IOU.

Any president can make short term moves that sell out our economic future for an economy that hits some immediate markers, ala reagan in the 80's who started the deficit spending choo choo train that our govt, both reps and dems, still cant let go of.
Theres things i think trump is right on when it comes to the economy, but ffs this is a long game stop touting these insta markers that can profoundly change from one quarter to the next.
