What week does the Axe come out.

The Browns Board

  • I am guessing hue is gone week 5.  If He only gets one win in that time frame.

  • Did you see that cowpoop at the end of the first half last night?  Two minute warning, Eagles have the ball inside our ten - so no possibility of any first down AND at least a field goal is a gimme.  Browns have ALL their timeouts.  Eagles run the ball on first down  for a loss of one or two.  What does Hue Jackson do?  He DOESN'T call a timeout.  Nearly 40 seconds tick off the clock and then Collins picks off the Eagles.  Now even if the Eagles did not throw a pick, they are 90%+ likely to score even if only a FG.  You use every single timeout and get the ball back with about 1:38 or so left ( or more if the Eagles don't take all three downs to score)  left on the clock and you work your 2 minute offense starting from around the 25-30 yard line..  Instead Hue is completely oblivious to how much time will be on the clock when we get the ball back.  This kind of Sheet is completely unacceptable in an NFL head coach.  These kinds of Shmuckups absolutely will be the SOLE reason we lose games this season that we otherwise should win.  Hue did stupid Sheet like this constantly last year.  It cannot be fixed.  He has to go.  I am now convinced he won't last the season.

  • I have to agree he has to be the worst clock manager in the NFL. Maybe he could hire one so that all he has to do is walk up and down the sidelines looking worried about which pocket he left his red flag in.?

Hue moved his last coaching life line, from WR coach, to now in the booth, 71 year old Senior Advisory to HC role Al Saunders..Saw some challenge flags calls get to Hue quicker, with better results, but the clock management blunders may cost them both a job..Saunders may advise Hue timely, but from Hue's attitude, that round head of Hues is hardheaded..  Edit--good post onkyo, never saw it till now..
