Kizer backing up Rogers

  • I still don't think Kizer is going to be a bad QB somewhere.  He can make a lot of the throws an NFL QB needs to. Obviously his red zone throws need a ton of work but so much working against him last year he was doomed from the start. Couple years at Green Bay with Rodgers will be helpful. Just wish we didn't have to watch that sh it show all last year just to trade him. At least if it was putting work in to make him better it would have had a silver lining.

Kizer was saddled by an idiot for a coach. Likely to do better right where he is.

  • I watched the Packs 3rd preseason game.

There was a lot more good than we were accustomed to seeing... but there was also some of the "other" that we saw too much of. But he struck me as being in command of the GB Offense.

In a couple years Hue will point to him as one of his success stories.

  • We gave him a raw deal though. No help at all. Good for Kizer

He got thrown into a bad no win situation on one of the worst teams in NFL history following a disastrous 1-15 season with only two years of NCAA experience. .......but we all know that now.

    He should be just fine.

  • Just like so many Brown's QB of yesteryear, I never thought Kizer couldn't play in the NFL-just wasn't a franchise or starter in the league. He'll fit nicely into a back-up role for several years, just  like Derek Anderson and others.

He was a big part of making it "one of the worst teams in NFL history"....so, no, I am not giving him a pass for that reason.

“He can make a lot of the throws”, unfortunately he’s not sure to whom they go to though

A part yes he was the quarterback but thrown into an impossible situation to even come close to any reasonable success.

Hopefully that's all ancient history now.

  • Being from Toledo,Yep am pulling for Kizer..But as I've posted before, imo if you put Kizer & Hundley in 2 white jersey's their deliveries & results were so much the same they would be hard to tell who's who..I do like our trading odds..Hundley was a 5th rd.pick (147), sent for a 6th to Seattle..Kizer was a 2nd (pick 52)..We ended up receiving Damarious Randall in trade. Than we flipped both 4th & 5th round picks with GB, going slightly back up again to get Antonio Callaway. Sat on GB's 5th round pick to a promising Genard Avery pick..

"Thrown into an impossible situation"  LOL...I assume that is a pun, as it was he and only he that  threw the 22 ints, and fumbled the ball constantly. While certainly he should not have been put in that position, once there, again, it was he who failed consistently.

And why do you hope that it is ancient history?  As long as he plays for another team, as far as I am concerned he can continue to play as poorly as he did here.  Nothing personal, its just that I believe that if we had to put up with his shite, so should someone else.

Basic, simple....yet accurate.  Not sure is you consider accurate as being "enlightening".

    Morons Are Getting Angry, indeed!

  • Is anyone watching this kid pickup right where he left off last year?

He's been in for two series and already turned it over in the red zone and a pick six!

  • We gave him a raw deal though. No help at all. Good for Kizer

Check him out tonight LOL, he is continuing on with his "raw deal" He is horrible

  • Yes the D shown Kaiser that we know and love has shown up in just a few minutes of the game that he’s been in a turnover in the red zone and a turnover to get the other team a TD

I have Rodgers on both of my FL teams...... aaahhhhhhh. Backups are Dak and Goff who I got this morning. 😕

  • Watching a young, innovative and competent head coach make a difference to a football team has me pretty freaking jealous.

..... but at least we have Hue.
