If the season were to end after  ONE partial week  (still 2 games left tonight).........what would be the answers?

    1. Which 2 teams will meet in the AFC title game?

Ravens blast Bills in the most dominating performance of the week so far.  Chiefs took down their biggest rival for AFC title (Chargers)

    2. Which 2 teams will meet in the NFC title game?

Vikings and Redskins made waste of their opponents

    3. Which of these teams will play in the Super Bowl?

After one week?   Ravens and Vikings?????

    4. Which 2  teams in each conference will have the biggest drop off from last year?

Falcons and Saints in NFC?  Saints beat by a team that many thought would challenge for #1 pick.

Steelers and Titans in AFC.   Steelers couldn't beat an 0-16 team.   Titans may have lost their QB...and lost to what I thought was perhaps the lesser team.

    5. Which 2 teams from each conference will have the biggest improvement from last year.

AFC:   BROWNS....already a better record after one game!!!  And Broncos upset Seahawks

NFC: Buccaneers, with big upset of N.O.  Redskins with thumping of AZ.

    6. Who will be the  NFL MVP.....or Offensive Player of the Year

Can anyone debate about it being Aaron Rodgers, after coming back from knee injury and down 20-0?

    7. Who will be the NFL Defensive Player of the Year?

Hell.....why not 5-0!   McGarrett did it for the Browns     (Close competition from Khalil Mack)

    8. Who will be NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year?

I had said Darnold earlier.  I will stick there for now.   While Suck-one Barkley had one good run, (68 yard...he only had 38 other yards). The New York based media WILL want to give it to one of these guys.

    9. Who will be NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year?

Denzel Ward  already has the leg up on this.    Anyone disagree?

    10.  State any other prediction about the Upcoming NFL season that you wish.

  • 8. Who will be NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year?

It won't be Barkley. and though perhaps it should be, it won't be one of the OL....so I will say Darnold, only because he is a QB and will be the one that will be give the most opportunity.  While he will not be an all star...he will be good enough....and be given enough hype because he plays in NY, to be give the award.

Last night gives credence to what I said here.   Darnold the darling of the Day.    And he probably deserves it, for now.  He certainly has a leg up now on the Offensive ROY award.

    Fair to say?
