Hi, Browns fans! ? . Our Cleveland Browns move on from their tie game with the Steelers, and are down south in The Crescent City to play the New Orleans Saints. Cleveland is visiting NOLA for a regular season scheduled NFL game there for the first time in eight seasons.
Cleveland may have an edge in their regular season history with New Orleans, even before the Saint's current Sean Payton/Drew Brees Era, as the Browns lead the all-time series with 17 wins and only 4 losses. Browns won the first eight games, and 11 out of their first 14, since the Browns defeated the Saints 42-7, in New Orleans first season in the NFL back in 1967.
Browns defeated the Saints in Cleveland's last visit to New Orleans at the Superdome by the score of 30-17, back on October 24, 2010. Browns also defeated the Saints in New Orleans last regular season game played at First Energy Stadium back on September 14, 2014. Billy Cundiff the 29-yard game-winning field goal with 3 seconds left, to preserve the 26-24 victory.
Browns also reportedly released Josh Gordon, to avoid distraction from this afternoon's game.
