NFLN had the replay of the Raiders game last night, and I watched the last two minutes of regulation. What struck me was on our punt (to my mind) there was a flagrant block in the back that always gets called. But not if you're the Browns.

Yeah , I caught that too.. You just hate to see The Refs dictate the outcomes of games.. But to me.. it just seemed like there was something fishy going on...

He had his opportunity- and wanted more than what we were offering. Sort of the same reason Le'veon Bell is cooling his heels in Miami. What would be his place on the Browns anyway? Crying he's not getting enough balls thrown his way- because Baker is finding the guy who's open?
Look at it this way- when we sent Josh packing, we signed a no-name guy (Streater). Think the Browns didn't seriously consider making an offer to Dez instead, and passed?

It definitely got missed.
I fully admit that penalties get missed, nobody is perfect. The problem I'm having is that these block in the back and punt return holding penalties NEVER seem to get missed in our side. I mean, it literally seems like more than half our returns have a flag against us. And the block in the back just seemed so obvious, I was completely irate. After the insane spot reversal, there was the block in the back, and I went to a dark place. I started screaming the game was fixed, and basically went nuts. My wife said, "Baby, you're still up 8 points! It's OK!" I told her she didn't understand, and that the game was already over.
The NFL has a problem on their hands. I'm not a conspiracy theory guy, but if you look back just a couple years, you find some calls and situations that are difficult to explain.
