    We have the best QB we’ve had since returning. Some very good young players on both sides of the ball. 

    Wasting them on Hue would be criminal. He has to go at the end of this year. No matter what the record is.

    All we have to do is fire the Head Coach?    I've been hearing that since 1999 and it's 2018.  That being the case, why haven't we found/kept the upgrade yet?  Doesn't that remain a bigger problem than the symptom you're complaining about?

    I welcome the only Defensive Coordinator to earn a Superbowl Ring in New Orleans while understanding Revenge of the Nerds is a sequel. "Come get some!"

    You're the same one who said repeatedly that they'd never win another game with Hue as coach early in the season and now they've won 2 so I feel confident that winning 6 is now more likely because you say it isn't likely to happen.

    Tongue-in-cheek or not, it is true. If Hue was not fired after 1 - 31, it will be Dorsey, and then Haley who get fired. Hue is not going anywhere. Call him Marvin Hue-lis

    So the record the Browns had in 2015 and 2016 wasn't important to you regarding Sashi, because of "The Process", but when it applies to Hue, it does matter.

    I was wrong on the winning a game. But the fact remains Hue Jackson is STILL THE WORST COACH IN NFL HISTORY

    Ok... 

    I don't think that's the case and I'll wait and see how the season turns out before saying he should be fired or retained.   Lots of games to be played still this season.

  • A case could be made for Hue staying through the end of the season if the GM has not hit his "win now" stride yet. Hue is the interim coach in that regard and will be around till January.

  • If this team ends up with only 4 wins, they will fire Hue.  Having said that, the time to fire him wasn't when we were 2-2-1 with 3 OT games. Everybody wanted a new OC this year and we got one.  A lot of people wanted the owner to stop firing Head Coaches too quickly so Pettine got 3 years and Hue is getting a 3rd full season. Everybody wanted an ideal chance to win games at the end of regulation and during OT (which we've had) in 5 of the games played. 

    What good can come of firing a Head Coach 2 weeks after this team was 2-2-1?  There's reasons our OC and DC are no longer considered HC candidates so would choosing 1 over the other as Interim HC for the remainder of the year put out a fire or add gas to it?   My guess is the best time to fire a HC for the purpose of upgrading that position isn't during the season when the choices are unemployed Coaches and the scenario I just mentioned.

    Again, if firing the HC was the answer here since 1999 - why do you suppose we're still rinsing and repeating with the exact same outcome?  Hurry up for Jimmy's next choice?  That involves losing both the OC and DC, their systems, and philosophies as well as the personnel here for those specifics.   There's a better nucleus here than many people are them credit for.  It's going to take more than 6 weeks for all the newbies we're counting on to deliver the magic especially when some of the key components are now injured (which a team coming off 0-16 can ill-afford to lose).  Let's see what happens the rest of the season...
