This really seems right out of Saul Alinsky's playbook...or even Cloward Piven of overwhelming the system. This is not something that happened spontaneously, this has been well orchestrated and planned.

There is nothing that can be done at the border without a border wall and/or some new immigration laws that democrats will not support. When this immigrant invasion comes to the border they will have been well coached to say the exact words needed for catch and release. They will be put on ankle bracelets and told to appear at a court hearing a year or two down the road, (almost all simply remove the bracelets and don't show up for that hearing) and they will melt away into our country. Until we get better immigration laws this will continue to be the pattern and those coming from South America know it as well.
Trump can talk tough about not letting illegal immigrants invade our country but he is pretty much helpless to stop it.

Only the ones with kids will be detained and released. The others will be detained and deported.
I don't know Diehard. I listened to a former immigration official explain the drill last night. The illegal immigrants are coached what to say for seeking asylum and are temporarily allowed in the country until they have a final hearing. He said although most lose on the final hearing and are deported the problem is most don't show up for that hearing and melt into the country illegally.

I heard this morning that only people with children are eligible for asylum. Well see. Hopefully they send them all back.

This is true but we know that won’t happen. There are a lot of big money interests who benefit from the cheap illegal labor.

You have a point but the Mexicans and so forth that sneak in and work hard don't bother me nearly as much as inner cities full of violent scumbags living on welfare. It does surprise me that Union people are in the pocket of the Democrats while illegals are doing carpentry electrical drywall etc etc for 10 or 15 bucks an hour.
