"WE" have to do our part and stop showing up at games....

  • I said that three years ago but everyone botched I’m not giving up my season tickets.  Season tickets to watch losers.  Yep real smart.  But let’s remember they brought in Dorsey and this is his third rebuild and they were all successful before this.  Soooo pump the brakes let’s see what they do tomorrow and Tuesday and that will tell if they have given up on the season.  I mean hell there only a few bad calls from being 5-2 0r 6-1

  • ghoolie was right on this one, if we keep showing up at first energy this sht will not stop.....ever. We feed haslem his weekly gate, no change

As Flugs said, the Browns could play to an empty stadium, and Haslam would still make money from the TV revenue.

I already got rid of my season tickets. I won’t give the Haslems another dime of my money

I won’t go to pilot or flying j either

Congrats, I'll bet you had cheap seats too....  If you feel you have better things to do with your money, God Bless ya. You're not hurting Jimmy one bit though....

So what about those dumb Cubs fans that kept buying tickets for 100 years of losing? Think I've been pretty clear about it. If you have 30+ years of seniority- you're not giving up your season tickets- regardless, unless.  Only reason would be if you're a millionaire and have the $40,000 or so disposable cash to buy back into the premium sections after you dump your tickets. So the math says- the losing proposition of dumping your seats means it would take you 20 years to break even if you wanted to buy back in. Seats between the 30s 100 level get handed down in wills- or they're corporate, and hate to tell you no one is giving those up regardless of how bad the team plays- for however long.

  • Point 1)  The offensive line is what we feared....struggling at the tackle position.

Point 2)  WR is a bad luck position this year.  Coleman was supposed to turn a corner - nope.  Gordon remained screwed up in the head - gone too.  Higgins, who actually showed a little something - injured.  Willies, an undrafted guy flashed - injured in practice.  Ricardo Louis - IR all season.

Point 3)  points 1 & 2 directly affect our  rookie #1 overall draft pick QB.  Defenses are NOT too worried about our receivers so they can attack our QB with extra man power.

Given points 1-3, today's outcome of the Steeler game is about what should've been expected.  -  Had we gotten 6 turnovers, like in the first game, perhaps this would've been a tie too.

Absolutely not but not much has changed. The defense is a bit better but I still don’t trust them to hold leads.

You are making an assumption on why he was traded.

  • If you want to move the team to columbus...this is a great plan.

Must not care much for the gameday experience. Pretty sure you'll change your tune when the Browns start winning on a regular basis....  You'll always be able to buy good seats at 3X face value. Knock yourself out.

Absolutely but you can't count on turnovers.  We are 28th in yards per game, 26th p/ypg, 28 r/ypg and 25th ion points allowed.

  • I'm going no matter what.

My entertainment dollars, my choice. This team is extremely frustrating but I'm sticking with em.

  • Maybe we should really show Jimmy we mean business and refuse to watch them on TV too 🙂

I'm with you Bob. I'm at home now recovering from Gall Bladder surgery last week but, if I'm physically able, I'll be there this coming Sunday & tailgating as always.

    GO BROWNS!

    Mike

  • There was a time when I felt like the original poster, now I think a fan should go if they want to go.  Take your kids, go with your friends, go try and enjoy your home team.  Watch our young stars like Ward, Garrett, and Mayfield try and figure it out.  Cheer for the team and hope we bring home an elusive win.  I'm as frustrated as anyone, but it is what it is right now.  We started off the year very competitive and unfortunately we didn't win enough of the early games.

  • Giving up and not going to the games is an pooper's solution.  As has been said, the owners hardly give a shite any more about stadium revenue, and all it does is allow these asshat owners to say "see I get no support from this city, I should move my team".

You see....the NFL, and its owners are NOT out of the  Blackmail business. Despite a few privately financed stadium deals, they still want a free place to do their business  that gives them a ton of revenue.....that the taxpayers pay for.  And if they don't get it, they will threaten to move somewhere that will give it to them.  I mean, face it, in the last 5 years we have had the Chargers and Rams move, the Raiders in the process of moving, and the Jags threatening to do so.

You are correct. I have said this before... many times.

Makes the inability of some to grasp the concept even more of a mystery to me.

As dismayed as you are at those of us who chose to maintain our tickets I am confused by posters like you. You believe we are a hopeless POS franchise that will never change. You think watching the games or supporting in any way is stupid. Based on your commentary I have to ask why the fck you are here still posting?

For the record I have enjoyed the games I have attended this year. Part of that due to the competitive games and part of that due to the atmosphere in general. We have a lot of sh!t to fix but I've seen a lot of bright spots. I have seen cool stuff. So honestly if you think its hopeless why not leave us hopeful dumbasses alone LOL

Couldn't have said it better myself .   I truly don't understand people like this.

We've played 8 games.  6 of them have been damn entertaining.  Frustrating to lose them (or tie) when so close to having wins but at least they're competitive and fun to watch most weeks.
