    Who?

  • Outstanding.

Initial quick thoughts.   A ball control offense vs a suspect Falcons front, with an emphasis and commitment to the running game.     Setting up playaction for Baker limiting the amount of times he has to step back and sling it without the defense having to respect Chubb and the running game.   Then mixing in the screen and full house was a great touch by Kitchens.

Defense got after it and didn't take themselves out of their rush lanes early.  The work they did against Coleman in the first half was note worthy.    Gave themselves a chance to win up front with the pass rush.  Carrie gets the  game ball vs Julio today.

ATL isn't good defensively so you don't want to say this team has just turned the corner.  BUT, it is a great place to start and begin building confidence.

  • Helluva win.

  • What a fantastic win.  For the first time in a long time it felt like I was watching a legit NFL team.  Great job Browns.

  • So nice seeing the Browns out coach the other team both during the week and on game day too..... it's been so long since I have thought that, that I don't even know who the coach was.

    HELL YEA!!

  •

The stench of Hue , finally left Berea!!!
  • Wow! What a difference coaching can make. Solid game planning and going with your players talent. The last guy is still checking film and this one wins.

  • It’s night and day. Hue held NO ONE accountable.

What a joke bringing back a 1-31 coach

  • yea if hue was still head coach this would not be happening

  • Good to see some depth on the D line , I’d never even heard of Brian Pricd

  • Nice, well disciplined, team win against a hot team. We won all three phrases today... plus had a dubious review go our way.

As the broadcast crew said, "A team can build on this kind of win."

Only four penalties in two weeks since Hue left. Can’t be a coincidence?

Check out the stat lines.     Especially note the Yards Per Play, Yards Per Pass, Yards Per Rush and sack differences between the two.

Reads like the Seahawks teams from 2012 to 2015.     That is the direction this young team should keep trending.

It’s not. Coaching really does matter.  After all , isn’t coach just another term for teacher?

  • And as someone mentioned early... the playcalling and unveiling of our "full-house-shotgun" was very good.

Only play call that furrowed my brow was the 3rd'n'one in our opening drive. Instead of going "jumbo" we tried the "Baker's confused" direct snap cutesy shite.

ATL came out to stuff the run and make Baker beat them. Something he might well have done, but we'll never know since Kitch kept pounding until the wall broke.

  • This game is proof to me this job was all about Hue and his ego.. Glad the Haslams sent his A$$ packing

I'm guessing some of our younger "Madden" influenced fans that think you can't win in today's NFL by simply running the ball and playing solid defense might have a different outlook right about now.....

I honestly don't think we have many younger Madden influence fans. Because those are the type that if they're only into football because of Madden they are certainly not going to have been rooting for the Browns for the past rough 19 years. They are the type that jumped on the Seattle Seahawks bandwagon or now the Rams bandwagon

  • At 55...My Madden don't do "Duke get Creamed, than sling it backward shuttle passes" nor "hell naw Hillard ain't chuck'in that chit up" to Baker Baker the touchdown maker...?..
