If the Playoffs started today, here is who would be in:

AFCE  Patriots  7-3  #3 seed

AFCN  Steelers  6-2-1  #2 seed

AFCS Texans  6-3 #4 seed

AFCW  Chiefs  9-1  #1 seed

Wildcards:  Chargers 7-2  #5 seed  Bengals  5-4 #6 seed

In the hunt:  Titans  5-4  (Bengals own tie breaker)   Dolphins  5-5

NFCE  Redskins 6-3  #4 seed

NFCN Bears  6-3 #3 seed

NFCS  Saints  8-1 #2 seed

NFCW Rams  9-1  #1 seed

Wildcards:  Panthers 6-3 #5 seed  Vikings  5-3-1  #6 seed

In the hunt:  Packers  4-4-1

[The Gipper]

The "Race" for the #1 seed:

Raiders  1-8

49ers  2-8

Cardinals and Giants  2-7

Bills/Jets  3-7

Jags/Broncos/Lions/Bucs  3-6

then the Browns a  3-6-1   currently would have the 11th pick

Schedule this week between teams currently in playoffs:

Texans vs. Redskins

Bears vs. Vikings

Chiefs vs. Rams   Monday night from Mexico City

Other games of interest (since Browns are on a bye):   Packers/Seahawks ; Bengals/Ravens; Steelers/Jags  Titans/Colts;  Eagles/Saints

another game in the "race for #1 pick":   Raiders vs. Cardinals

To me the interesting part of this,  will/can they squeak out 1 or 2 more wins and end up in the middle of the pack in another rebuilding draft year?

Browns are coming back... one game at a time. We can catch them if we don't look back.

Note the game next Monday night Chiefs versus Rams has been moved to Los Angeles and away from Mexico City because of the poor condition of the field at the stadium there
