Dorsey and co. win in fifth round, too. Gerard Avery

Wait until next year. 2 third rounders and 2 fifth rounders.
Dorsey will most likely get 3 guys that will be major contributors

every week more and more we are seeing how last draft will define this team for years to come
It looks like we've finally hit on one of those tons of draft picks drafts.
All those years with multiple first rounders that went to waste... Dorsey might have finally cashed in on all those chips.

It's early yet, but John Boy repeats his 2018 draft success next April- we're really going to start rolling....

MHO is we'll find out how close we are to being a top team this Sunday. The Texans game has to be the toughest one left on the schedule.
Getting five contributors out of one draft is something we're used to seeing the Steelers doing. Repeat that success in 2019, add a few more FAs, and thing will start getting interesting.

Love this kid, I think along with Ogunjobi these two are ones I’m looking forward to seeing for next several years

Id like to see us use that draft stock to move up to at least a top 10 pick. The DL talent in this draft will be insane

Dorsey might do that if he sees value there. But he's been outstanding finding talent in the lower rounds. Callaway, Avery.

Not sure what you mean with this thread.. Avery has been good on pass rush and run D, yes, but he is not capable of coverage in space.
He's a good backup but he is not a starter. If that's winning then sure, have at it.

WTF do you know. Not a godamned thing. He is only a few game into his rookie year, so whatever he is capable of is not yet determined. At this point in like Ray Lewis's career you might have said that he is only a backup, not capable of coverage in space...whatever. It is way to soon to judge him.

In the 5th round you are basically trolling for special teamers, so if you think he is a good pass rusher and run defender, then you should be thrilled.

Or you’re looking for a developmental type player who you hope will be a significant contributor down the road, like Higgins, who was also a 5th rounder.

And occasionally you get really lucky and find a starter, or even a great player there.... stinkin' Steelers Antonio Brown in the 6th, or Saints Marques Colston in the 7th. Of course we must mention that GOAT of the Patriots Tom Brady in the 6th. Tony Romo didn't even get drafted, and he was fairly decent.
