Browns at Texans gameday thread
-
Would just like them to play a solid error free game. If they can stay close, on the road, to a playoff team that will say a lot. If they get rolled, that may say even more.
The Texans are a playoff team, as were the Steelers, Chiefs and Chargers, three games that the Browns struggled to compete.

We had Hue/Haley 2 out of 3 of those games and against KC we had backups running around on defense trying to contain a top 2 offense in the league

We are listed in the hunt column for the wild card spot officialy now?

Looked ugly to start, Myles Garrett with the SAVAGE sack, one arm pushing back lineman, one arm pulling Watson down with force.
-
That was a brutal sack by Garrett
-
We look like we are getting good push up front so far

I showed up for the game wondering when the Browns are going to.

Baker didn't see him on the first slant and didn't see him there. He's throwing where he anticipates and not checking for the Underneath.
This is why I said, straight drops aren't Bakers friend - especially in his rookie year. Need to commit to the play action and the WR screens...

This is not Cincinnati, Ohio.

Baker does not look comfortable. Missing puzzle pieces showing up.
Browns need to hang in there and try to get some points before halftime.

Baker woke up this morning feeling petrified

Can't tell if cover 2 or a cloud but Baker isn't processing it and Callaway ran it wrong anyway

To be fair they have turned up today ready for us

Baker didn't see the defender coming and thus the INT and he was under pressure. Like I said, he'll learn from this.

We need a game like this. Prepares us for like games in the future.

He can't unlearn the Farve mentality you just saw there on that INT.

Naw he’s just having a rookie kind of game. This defense is on a higher level and he is forcing the issue.
He looks BAD rn. And that is a result of being down 20 in the 1st half.

Yeh as much as I would love to defend Baker you can’t defend him on that
