The federal sentencing guidelines in Flynn’s case call for 0-6 months -- exactly what Mueller is “graciously” recommending. Mueller did Flynn no favors. Quite to the contrary, the only reason Flynn is facing any threat to his liberty is Mueller’s insistence on prosecuting him -- and more importantly threatening his son with prosecution -- over “crimes” that would have been thrown out by any ethical prosecutor the moment they crossed his desk.
We don’t actually know whether Flynn really lied to the FBI. The Washington Post says he did, but Mueller’s successor as FBI director, James Comey, says he thinks he didn’t. All we can be sure of is that Flynn agreed to say he lied after Mueller’s attack dogs started threatening him and his son with years in prison over far-fetched nonsense that would never fly without the “resistance” cheering them on and providing political cover.

The matter of Gen. Michael Flynn began with criminal conduct. But it was not committed by Flynn. The crimes were leaking the contents of classified telephone conversations between Flynn and Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and revealing the identity of Flynn as a party to the conversations.
The sorry saga began with a January 12, 2017 column about the Flynn/Kislyak conversations by The Washington Post’s David Ignatius, who described his source as a “senior U.S. government official,” i.e., an Obama administration functionary. Whoever told Ignatius the fact of and substance of the eavesdropped conversations committed a felony by leaking classified information.
The second crime is publicly revealing a U.S. citizen’s identity as being a party to those conversations. When there is authorized intelligence collection of foreign officials, the identity of the U.S. person who is incidentally picked up during that collection is to be minimized (not disclosed), even within the U.S. government...
Not only was the basis for questioning Flynn a ruse, but more significantly the FBI did not have to ask him about the conversations to determine if there was a crime because it had the transcripts and recordings of every single word. If Flynn had committed any illegal act in the conversations, the Justice Department could have indicted him that day. But it did not. Nor did Mueller ever mention such an illegality in his December 2017 charges against Flynn for false statements.
Thus, before Flynn flunked remembering every word of a conversation he was asked to recall weeks later, an Obama administration official had egregiously broken the national security and privacy laws. But only Flynn has been charged with a crime.
Mueller should have pursued these crimes as he is authorized to investigate any crime he finds in the course of the “collusion” investigation. He has had no problem charging Paul Manafort for decades-old tax crimes and looking into former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s taxi medallions. Yet the crimes against Flynn have been ignored. Why?

I am against using the powers of the government to go after a president because they simply don't like the election results and are attempting to undo a presidential election. Somehow I don't believe if Hillary Clinton was elected and she had a special counsel looking into all her activities with the Clinton Foundation she would have clean hands either but this is called selective prosecution. DEMOCRATS ARE ‘DOUBLING DOWN ON POLICE STATE TACTICS’ BY CALLING FOR TRUMP TO SERVE JAIL TIME, SAYS DAN BONGINO
Radio host and political commentator Dan Bongino said Democrats are “doubling down on police state tactics” to take down President Donald Trump.
“This is really scary stuff. I’m not exaggerating for effect on television here. I don’t think anybody needs to do that anymore,” Bongino said on “Fox & Friends” Monday. “They’re actively doubling down on police state tactics.”
“Lets look at what they did. You may say oh come on Dan, the police state, the Democrats — That’s a little much. Is it? Really? Are we sure? Let’s look at things we know they did.”
Bongino accused Democrats of abusing NSA resources to spy on American citizens and said they misused the FISA process to promote their political agenda. He also questioned the reasoning behind calls for Trump to be thrown in jail.
“They unmasked private American citizens’ phone calls. They were listening in on American citizens’ phone calls without a warrant. Legal, but the reasoning [is] questionable at best,” Bongino continued. “They tapped into the NSA database. We know that. We’ve had a FISA court disclosure saying that. We’ve had them misuse the FISA process to spy on Americans who still have not been prosecuted for any crime. Carter Page. Explain to me again how this isn’t police state tactics.”
“Now they’re doubling down and they want to throw the president in jail? For what? For civil violations?” he concluded. (Bongino talking about the $280,000 in payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen Mcdougal for their silence. That is still a big if but lets say it is found to be a campaign violation. In 08 the Obama campaign was found to have 2 million dollars in campaign violations. Was there any criminal charges pursued. NO. It was swept under the rug and a fine was paid)
Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff of California appeared on CBS’ “Face The Nation” Sunday and said Trump faces “the very real prospect of jail time” the day he leaves office. Schiff didn’t provide specifics and based his assertion on special counsel Robert Mueller’s recently released report on Michael Cohen and Paul Manafort.
Schiff is expected to become the next chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence when the new Democratic Congress takes control in January.

So in essence schiff stated they dont have anything impeachable yet. But he is saying fed laws were broken and this dude could go to jail the day after leaving.......and ur problem with the enfircement of federal laws issss????

And even if nothing comes of it, she aint runnin again. The comparison between Trump's alleged campaign violation of $280,000 should be made with Obama's 08 campaign violations of $2 million dollars...a whole lot more. So what happened with the 2 million dollars in campaign violations in 08 from team Obama? A fine was paid. Same thing should happen to Trump if he is found guilty of a campaign violation.

I am against using the powers of the government to go after a president because they simply don't like the election results and are attempting to undo a presidential election. Somehow I don't believe if Hillary Clinton was elected and she had a special counsel looking into all her activities with the Clinton Foundation she would have clean hands either but this is called selective prosecution. If she had been elected there would be no special counsel appointed to look into her "sins". Just the way the she had a sham and a fraud FBI investigation into her emails.

If Trump broke campaign finance laws he should pay the penalty Obama paid in 08 for a much greater amount in his campaign violations. Trump should pay a fine like Obama...that would be a nation of (fair) laws..ya think?
