Whatever....still am not sure how it applies to Mayfield specifically.

Jabrill Peppers..... Something by RHCP naturally. This one seems appropriate......if he is to be the hitter we hope he will continue to be:

I don't think it does. I guess the idea is to also have good song....this one does not qualify.

Cool, thanks. And two songs for Baker that could work, ones been done, Wild Thing but the better in my opinion is Putting On The Ritz

You're old and doddering. Baker Mayfield is 23. Dude would never walk to Grand funk railroad.
Pantera is positively ancient to him.

And it does qualify Gramps. And no, I won't get off your lawn. Come and make me.

I never suggested Grand Funk. Nor Pantera.
I chose perhaps the most ubiquitous guitar riff song out there.......because the guy that wrote it was born on the same day.

Why would I want to embarass some milleniall pus puss. If you were recalcitrant...I would just use the Clint Eastwood method. (called a shotgun under your chin).

Regardless... I still don't see how the song applies to Mayfield. (Walk?)

Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence
One step from lashing out at you
You want in to get under my skin
And call yourself a friend
I've got more friends like you
What do I do?Is there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of timeRespect, walkRun your mouth when I'm not around
It's easy to achieve
You cry to weak friends that sympathizeCan you hear the violins playing your song?
Those same friends tell me your every wordIs there no standard anymore?
What it takes, who I am, where I've been
Belong
You can't be something you're not
Be yourself, by yourself
Stay away from me
A lesson learned in life
Known from the dawn of timeRespect, walkAre you talking to me?
No way punkNothing special. Every rebellious youth has sung about this since 1952.
