The writer is inferring that she is too burned out for basic life tasks because someone told her she should be working. In trying to defend millennials she managed to find a way to make herself sound more whiny. You can tell that she and the guy who couldn’t work out sending mail must have lived some pretty easy lives.

While I don't agree with it all, I think the feeling you need to constantly work resonates with some.
Then again hating how other millennials make millennials look is part of being a millennial too.
I think there's some truth to what she's saying though.
