56 years ago Friday January 18, 1963 Ghoulardi broadcasted his first show from TV-8 Cleveland, Ohio.

The rest is just TV history.....if you were lucky enough to see it.  😉

Ernie Anderson's Ghoulardi was Cleveland's most legendary and infamous late night TV horror movie hosts. From 1963-1966 he ruled the airwaves. This clip features his notorious joke about playing poker. How he got away with this in 1964 is anybody's guess.

I watched him just about every Friday.  Sad day when he moved to LA.

Ernie did not want to be stuck doing the Ghoulardi stuff his whole life......and he made a fortune doing voice work which ironically he never really knew how much he just liked doing it.

Too bad most of his work did not survive. What a short amazing time when I was 12-16.  🙂
