  • After Lying His Fool Head Off, Phillips Wants Covington Boys EXPELLED!

Native American Nathan Phillips has told a series of stories about the incident with the Covington boys, and they change when he gets caught in false accounts.

THE MANY LIES OF NATHAN PHILLIPS

Phillips first told The Washington Post the students swarmed him while he was preparing to leave the Indigenous People’s March scheduled for the same day. Phillips initially said one student, who has since identified himself as high school junior Nick Sandmann, blocked his path from leaving as he tried to do so.

Videos showed he entered their group doing school cheers to drown out the radical hate group, the New Israelites, aka Black Hebrew Israelites, who were taunting the boys for an extended period.

After that was disproven with videos, Phillips told a second version of the story to the Detroit Free Press. Phillips claimed he was playing the role of peacemaker by getting between the students and four “old black individuals,” whom he claimed the students were attacking.

“They were in the process of attacking these four black individuals,” Phillip told the Michigan paper. “I was there, and I was witnessing all of this … As this kept on going on and escalating, it just got to a point where you do something, or you walk away, you know? You see something that is wrong, and you’re faced with that choice of right or wrong.”

Newsday reported Phillips said it was all a misunderstanding.

Phillips had the gall to say the boys were the original abusers.

“These young men were beastly, and these old black individuals was their prey, and I stood in between them, and so they needed their pounds of flesh, and they were looking at me for that,” he added.

We know from videos that the “old black individuals” were verbally assaulting and threatening the boys.

Phillips repeatedly claimed in his interviews Sunday and Monday that some of the students who allegedly surrounded him [but didn’t] chanted “build the wall.” None of the videos have shown any chants to that effect.

So when will the media report the many sins of Nathan Phillips? When will they expose the Hebrew Israelites who are an anti-gay gang of street preachers who spread hate? When will they do to them what they did to the boys?

  • This will be the go to for a while to dismiss anything from the "MSM". Just like how Trump's win means polls don't count anymore.

Obviously they've messed up before, but this looks like it will be the poster child.

Yep, kids shouldn't be harassed. These high schoolers. Parkland survivors. Etc.

Though I think it's fine to joke about Hogg in here. Or say that kid looked like a smug asshole. But it may just be because he's a kid.

Any high schooler that's out there and really politically active, especially in groups, I think you can question their motives. Just like you might dismiss a bunch of liberal, millennial, snowflakes complaining about something I think that holds here with smug, mostly white males, wearing MAGA hats to get a response out of others. Now if they can really speak to their views, ok that's different.

  • red_bellied_woodpecker_snowflake_pewter_woody, you can't speak to your views - you just talk negative nonsense, and you act like a woodpecker to get a response out of others.

When you take into account the BuzzFeed fiasco, along with the Covington kids gaffe.

It hasn't been a good week for the MSM to shake the "Fake News" stigma.

Yes I remember when big groups of white fundamentalist gather around your little buddy screaming vulgarities.

Oh yeah that didn't happen. Just a few guys made fun of him when he was all over the fucking news. Whoops.

Right wing media and Trump's administration will keep this in the light as long as possible.

Also, I should have guessed those were private school kids. Fits the whole stereotype

On average, probably. I would guess grades improve as family wealth does.

But, in my experience, on average, private school kids are also pretty damn stuck up. That smug face being the perfect stereotype

I wouldn't say family wealth necessarily even though your old man's got plenty of dough right? And you're pretty smart right? Point is the parents that sacrifice to send their kids to a private school probably care more than most at JFK. On our way to forensic tournaments we would often stopped up on North Hill to pick up a black girl who was really good. Her parents were really cool and loved her a lot and appreciated  wed take her to the tournaments. Just saying the family that cares about their kids is more important then being rich.

Those were high school kids on a field trip. The adults should be charged with a hate crime

  • Look they did not care if the story was true or not, fact is they saw a group of Catholic kids, some wearing Trump hats and decided to start a bullshit story and then move away from it while people are still uncovering the bullshit they started, they don't care if they got this kid killed or not, if the kid does get killed they will blame Trump.

And it's much easier to support and care for your child's education when you have an education as well, don't need to work two jobs, can provide the supplies they need, and generally just live in a nicer area.

We're not rich. Not private school rich. He did well for himself and was smart about saving for our college. Grandma had a lot of contribution as well because my grandpa did well for himself running his business back in the day (passed away before I was born). Still had some student loan debt but nothing awful.
