And today if anybody doesn't hate Trump with every fiber of their being and oppose every single word and proposeal that comes from the White House you are a Nazi racist bigot misogynist Soviet plant blah blah blah. Funny how that works.

Potentially. But I'm talking more about this board. Not the media (or your perception of the media).

And on this board, there definitely isn't the liberal version happening of what happened during the Obama administration. Though I'm sure a group of posters here think that. Which, again, is the root of the problem.

I'm talking about this board too. If you still have the capability to be honest have I ever claimed Obama was a Muslim? I think he's probably as agnostic or atheist as you are and pretended to be Christian to get votes like a lot of politicians.

Right, yeah, I agree. You have to pretend to be a Christian to win the presidency. At least for now

And while your typical Steve tactics are annoying, and you may lean right, you're clearly not who I'm talking about in this instance.

It is possible that a few have a mental illness that causes them to misspell words, and outrageously distort the simplest

of discussions. That, and acting like a woodpecker swimming in Egypt... could be a possible explanation.

I certainly don't fault anyone for typos Etc. I'm probably the biggest offender thanks to my not checking after speech to text but I think that his use of Junior High School valley girl abbreviations is ridiculous. Possibly he thinks it makes him seem hip.

I just think he's a loudmouth and maybe in real life it gets him by. Becoming as outraged as he has over a situation that never even happened and becoming apoplectic about 1985 yearbook isn't something a rational person does.

Making up a hypothetical starring me so he can scream about it doesn't seem particularly balanced mentally. Quite possibly just showing off for the other lefties.

True - what I meant was "constantly deliberately?" misspelling words. any of us can have a typo. Worse than showing off, I think.

Brit Hume hits the Washington Post over a double standard on Northam scandal [VIDEO]

I'll side with you here. LIberals, and rightly so, immediately called for Ertel to resign yet when it's one of their own....welllll…..out comes the mealy mouthed excuses and vassiliations about why it's not the same thing. Yes, technically what Ertel did was worse because he directly mocked people who died just weeks prior to his stupid little party. But in essence there is zero difference. If at any point in your life you thought it was funny to dress up as a black man and stand next to another shitknuckle in full KKK gear....you probably aren't fit to lead anything. I keep waiting for one side to show even the most incremental of principle but I feel like this will go on my whole life. It's just another indicator of the kind of society we've become. There's seemingly no real honor left in this country when it comes to our leadership. None.

    Props for intellectual honesty.

  • Now Democrat Attorney General Mark Herring of Virginia Has Admitted to Blackface

Sounds to me like Virginia Democrats have a racism problem. First Governor Ralph Northam donned either a KKK outfit or slathered his face with makeup for a photo, then later he admitted to being in blackface as Michael Jackson. Now the Attorney General Mark Herring, third in line for the governorship, has admitted to blackface.

    Here’s the money shot:

“In 1980, when I was a 19-year-old undergraduate in college, some friends suggested we attend a party dressed like rappers we listened to at the time, like Kurtis Blow, and perform a song. It sounds ridiculous even now writing it. But because of our ignorance and glib attitudes — and because we did not have an appreciation for the experiences and perspectives of others — we dressed up and put on wigs and brown makeup.”

Herring then says it was a one-time thing and it was 40 years ago, therefore doesn’t reflect who he is today. He will not confirm if he will resign, only that there needs to be “honest conversations” about his future in government.

Now, had the Democrats not spent all summer tearing down Brett Kavanaugh for an event which they say happened in HIGH SCHOOL, we could all be somewhat sympathetic to young people making terrible choices. Alas, we’re living in a post-Kavanaugh world. A world where Democrats analyzed every comma, word, or errant apostrophe in Kavanaugh’s yearbook, diaries, and personal calendar from when he was in HIGH SCHOOL in a clear attempt to destroy his life. So boof that.

Sorry, I haven’t any sympathy. Democrats wrote the rules. Democrats set the precedent that alleged incidents with no proof at all were admissible in a politician or judge’s career. There’s evidence with Northam. Herring has admitted to blackface. Going by the rules as set by Democrats, Northam and Herring must resign. Now.

The GOP didn’t make these rules. Conservatives in media didn’t make these rules. Democrats did. Live by the sword…

  • I watched the press conference where he talks about dressing as Michael Jackson and it's fucking hilarious.

  • I don't think he should resign.  Just move on.  We all did, do, or will do something we regret later in life.

  • true, but if he was a republican...

    different story by the msm.

  • Can’t look at like that Cal

    thats there way

now if he says kill babies it’s a whole other thing

  • Gov Northam should "absolutely" resign. We all saw the picture next to the guy in KKK robes. There's still no confirmation of who Northam was in that photo, but even if he was the black guy...it's still fucked. Im not "incensed" by just blackface. But when you put the larger context of the event to the blackface, then things become murky. Had Northam dressed in blackface but not next to some KKK cosplayer, than I wouldn't expect him to resign. Ertel, the republican, he wore blackface and put "katrina victim" on the back of the shirt....that's not acceptable in way shape or form. This aren't arbitrary "rules" some party came up with, we all know what's fucked up and what's not...or maybe "so so" fucked.

This attn general is just admitting to dressing in blackface with a bunch of friends and rapping a song in the confines of their own place, probably either drunk or high or both....not expecting a resignation there unless there's more to it and he's just copping to some of it in an effort to obfuscate something else. Im really upset with democrats for not immediately calling for Northams resignation. There's no context to that photo that makes it ok. In fact, any "context" that could be added would probably just start to make it worse which is probably exactly why everybody stfu about it.
