Fascinating developments in Venezuela
-
a people can only take so much - millions have been murdered over socialists enforcing control because their
promises always fail. Venezuelans have been murdered in the streets, and now soldiers are deserting their posts
because of despair and seeing their society collapse, and their gov become dangerous.

It is a sad story and a cautionary tale on Venezuelan socialism. But I hope we don't try to "bring them democracy". Let them figure it out on their own. Or better yet, other South American countries can step up.

Capitalism or socialism or dictatorship or communism or fascism oh, you name it, is not going to make a 3rd World destitute shithole a nice place to live. It has nothing to do with the system of government really.
Socialism is just an easy sell to people who are fucking broke.
