No indication of what he actually did to "violate" his contract. Didn't take prescribed medication? Didn't attend counseling/therapy session? Just went out and got drunk and high?
He won't play in Canada, but that does not mean he can't play in the US. There is the AAF.....and also the "New XFL"...which starts up next year.
Assuming he wants to continue to be a football player, which I don't think we can assume.
If he went to San Antonio, he would be near home. Grew up in Kerrville just outside of SA. Don't know if that would help him at all.

I've had my bell rung, saw stars even went out and there's nothing wrong with me.......really, nothing. You'd never know, really.....wait I already said really.

Would be interesting to know which of the guidelines set forth by the CFL horror not adhered to prompting them to bar Johnny from the league. Articles hint at some sort of ongoing rehab observation blah blah blah programs.

Something that hasn't been mentioned yet.. JM was released only after he decided he's unwilling to follow the proposal the CFL gave to him. Wasn't just an arbiter decision of some sort -- JM thought it would be better for him to get released rather than doing whatever they proposed and continuing to play.

And of course that's all sealed up. Maybe just to pique our curiosity. Seems like some sort of testing and rehab or counseling type of protocol.

Rumor is he is going to San Antonio AAF league since they own his rights. However he has been invited to work out for reps of all AAF teams in case SA decides not to take him.
