Ogbah Has Been Traded for S Eric Murray
-
Some rumors on twitter that a deal involving a swap for Darron Lee of the Jets is being discussed ....
-
*if so* ? Sounds familiar to the Randle trade.. https://www.nj.com/jets/2019/03/whats-next-for-jets-darron-lee-analyzing-pros-cons-of-trading-keeping-or-cutting-linebacker-after-cj-mosley-signing.html Browns would control 5th year option..Gregg Williams DC at Jets..
-
He's a perfect fit for our defense so let's hope this gets done. He was the top rated coverage linebacker in the league and our defense needs linebackers that can cover. I would be really happy with this but we really need to find depth at DE, and I dont see much in the draft.
-
I like Ogbah, don't see the upside in getting rid of him.
-
-
This would be great if he can stay on the field. He does have some Gordon in him -- suspended last 3 games of 2018 for PED's.
Ended the season 3rd ranked coverage LB.. Note the Browns discussion in that link is as bad as you'd expect.

Let ogbah bulk up and be a rotational defensive tackle. He’s big long and thick
Could ruin him just as it did Billy Wynn...

Bingo.
Putting weight on ogbah isn't likely to turn him into a player we need.
If Williams wants him + a modest pick for Lee, them I'm all aboard.

Or a DB in a trade, now that Gaines left for Buffalo?

Some reports today are that Dorsey met with Jeffery Simmons last week
Thanks...do you need the knife out of your back or just twist it?
