2019 Board Mock: Day 1 - Round 1
-
Rams lost Saffold to the Titans a couple weeks ago, and their center should have retired a couple seasons ago. They take the best OL remaining on the board who just happens to be athletic enough to be a day-1 starter at any OL spot. Their QB needs an elite line, but without Saffold, they still need work just to get back to average.
OT Jonah Williams, Alabama

Hey Sorry Fellas, at the rate we were going back i didn't think we'd make it this far before I got home tonight.
I forgot the packers had a second late round pick in the draft too.
With the 30th Pick, the Packers take Jeffery Simmons DE/DT, Mississippi State

Commish had made the pick for you but as you made your selection before the next GM I am sure he will let you have the pick....... if he lets you have the pick it will mean Deionte Thomson safety is available again ....up to the commish

Yeah it was my bad dude. I completely forgot the packers had the late second pick in the first round and was thinking I would be up next in round 2. Got home from work and saw I was tagged. Hopefully you fellas have it in your hearts to forgive me.

Rams take G Chris Lindstrom, Boston College

Pats have been looking for pressure out of the interior DL for a while and select Jerry Tillery, Notre Dame.
They'll replace Gronk on day 2. In January, WalterFootball called the Pats replacing him this offseason even if he didn't retire..

And with that ladies and gentlemen Round One is in the books... virtually speaking.
Next pick is Flyin J's and it will be made here:
-
Observations:
- Eleven (11) DL taken in Round 1... 6 DTs and 5 DEs.
- Twenty (20) in total taken in the D-side.
- Three (3) QBs from this "weak class" were taken in the top ten...
- Only four times was the same position tapped on consecutive picks and in only one of those instances did "the run" reach three in a row.

Id add that no RB was taken, when last year one of them was #2 overall...
