A new map pinpointing the locations where human feces are reported to have been found in the California city since 2011 shows San Francisco has a staggering problem with the stinky stuff.

Nearly every city block has had a poop sighting in recent years as the city grapples with homelessness, according to data compiled by Open The Books.

Not even the basking sea lions and aquatic life calling the Bay Area home have been spared. One report was pinpointed to Seal Rocks – a jagged formation surrounded by the ocean – and more waste was sighted in the waters off the popular Fisherman’s Wharf tourist area.

The largest concentration of complaints was in the area of Market St., where the headquarters of companies such as Twitter and Uber are located. Nearly a hundred markers also were clustered along the block that surrounds city hall.

The details of the complaints that the San Francisco Department of Public Works has received are unclear, but data shows the number of sightings has increased dramatically since 2011. That year, 5,547 human feces incidents were reported. The number rose to 28,084 in 2018.

Such a beautiful city. Too bad they can’t find a solution for their homeless population.

In 2016 I took a vacation to northern California. I stayed about an hour north of San Francisco in a town called guernsville in the napa valley area.

Let me tell you nothing ruins the majestic redwoods quite like a bunch of vagrants taking a shit in the Russian River.

Of course guernsville billed itself as a "hate free" town since not many people were willing to say anything about it.

Early man walked away as modern man took control. Their minds weren't all the same and to conquer was their goal. So He built his great empires and he slaughtered his own kind, and he died a confused man and killed himself in his own mind...

Seems like San Francisco should be more concerned about other issues such as the title of this thread :

I follow politics but there comes a point where it is just a headache and I want a break from it. Sports for instance. I think of watching a sporting event as an escape from the political world but the left is determined to bring their politics into every avenue of our lives. Seriously why would anyone care about Bosa supporting Trump. HE IS A FOOTBALL PLAYER! IT IS  A FOOTBALL GAME...KEEP OUT THE POLITICS AND FOCUS ON THE SPORT.

ESPN who has been way too political may be finding this out now with their declining viewers but I for one do not want 24/7 politics especially intruding into sports. We have Meet the Press, Face the Nation, This Week and a host of cable news networks for those who want the 24/7 politics.

Well literally every possible thing in life can be turned political by people who act as if their favorite political party is their mom and thus can do no wrong. They attribute everything bad to being the result of the other party. Both sides do it annoyingly. The sun rises because of their party and sets because the other guy caused it. That mindset removes critical thinking from the process.

There is bad behavior on both sides but if placed on a scale it would be heavily tilted towards the left. You see some on the right behaving badly like the left but just not in the amount seen on the left with teachers and professors pushing their liberal views in schools, the entertainment industry and Hollywood pushing their liberal views, leftist morons assaulting people for wearing a MAGA hat and the antifa crowd. By far and away the biggest majority of this is coming from the left side. Not saying there aren't the crazies on the right but not in the amount we see on the left. Those of us on the right didn't care for Obama and his polices but you didn't see Obama Derangement Syndrome. That hatred some on the left have for Trump is not rational but over the top.

To a person pretty independent of politics, it is brain rot on both sides. I don’t care the balance. I live in WV so I get my brain pounded with the right side of it. The whole system has created a situation where critical thought is tossed in favor of confirmation bias.

Also, have you just skipped over the “Obama is the fault for everything even now” threads?

Obama was a terrible president and a lot of us posted saying such...what we didn't do was go out and assault Obama supporters or do the crazy things the left is doing today with Trump Derangement Syndrome.

I will do you one better. I saw a guy in an Obama shirt get the shit kicked out of him in Mingo County WV in a place called Wally’s, a now defunct diner, by about 10 hillbillies. It was over his guy being “against coal”. It was when I worked at Tax Dept. They thought we worked for WV DEP (Environmental Protections) and they threatened to kill us. They didn’t realize that it was all bullshit poured into their brain from the mine owners who were just going to natural gas. That is why they were closing mines. But politics...

So you might understand my general aversion to party politics.
