we ran around with friends out in Amish country - we had some homemade vanilla ice cream with
real Georgia peach homemade sundae topping. Very *excellent* Cheese factory with free samples is always fun.

This was enough for our great president to go on a rant against a USA national soccer player. Enough for grown "real Americans" to root against France.

I don't think it's overreacting to say you think it's pathetic the president felt the need to call out a national athlete. It's disappointing everyone is just ok with a president being at that low and pety of a level now. Not anything that started with this exchange, but one I felt like bringing up.
I don't think we should just be ok with the child like behavior the president exhibits. Has nothing to do with his politics. But I think he's empowered his base to openly act in the same manner though.
