But...there HAD been a "Baseball World Cup" held prior to the previous tournament, and here are the results of those:
Tournament results[edit]
Now...be aware that for most of this tournaments history...no so called professionals were allowed to participate, so that included anyone that was in the American Big Leagues...or any of the minor leagues. Of course, Cuba won a lot because....as we know...none of their players were ever professionals..oh no (wink wink, nudge nudge). Needless to say, that has changed with the new tournament....though I don't know what the participation rules are.
As you can see, over the years, these tournaments have been dominated by North American/South American/Asian nations....but lo and behold...the last World Cup was won by a Eurofag country.
Baseball was an Olympic sport for a time....but because the Eurofag countries did participate in baseball, they lobbied to get rid of it.
Instead, we have sports like fucking synchronized swimming, breakdancing...and shit like that.
Those gomers even cancelled wrestling....but:
Both baseball/softball and wrestling were added again for the Tokyo games.
-
Of course, there was also to have been a Real Football World Cup held this year in Australia....but they postponed the next event until 2023 because so many countries apparently chickened out of playing...I guess citing "funding" reasons. Which I understand.....why would these nations want to take a financial bath only to be given a competitive bath by the Americans in this sport.
The last tournament that was held was held in Canton, Ohio

Here are results of previous real football tournaments. Be aware that the first two "American Football World Cups" were not won by the USA...because the USA was not allowed to participate in the World Cup of American Football, due to the knowledge that there would be no competitive balance. Imagine that.

The refs gave that match to the USA.
-
That ref did not call the foul in the box, but she was forced to review by a call from above. They should have done the same for one in the first half too. And our gay girl was the outstanding player of the tournament. Good for her.?
-
That was 100% a foul....

Rugby can be a tough brutal sport reminds me of those old pick up tackle football games we used to have.
A local team here won the Rugby state championship in their first year of existence in Ohio last year-but- they had a good football team with a big tough line.....ideal for playing rugby.
Sock-her, eh still above golf and tennis but still basically recess for big kids, watch you don't get hit in the eye with one of those red cards.

Megan Rapinoe has been very open about her current partner, WNBA player Sue Bird. You could have figured out who I meant by what I said about the outstanding player of the tournament as well as cal wishing her ill prior to the final game.

As Cal continues to backtrack from wishing injury on a USA national player...
-
I'm not backtracking, woodpecker. I joked I'd rather have her not play in the game after she was
a complete, embarrassing bitch, which you also are. You just can't stop bitching, especially about me, can you?
You are one sicko birdbrain.
-
Sure thing Cal.
You've shown us now your fake patriotism and homophobic self. It speaks for itself.
-
it's strange how you project your own weaknesses on other people. You're afraid to admit you are afraid of being gay, and you hate your country, despise our Flag, Anthem, our freedom...
you just sit back and dream of being michael moore's gofer. I don't like your favorite asswhole bitch soccer player, gay or not.
I like the rest of the team. I really like the gal who "sipped tea" in celebration. That was great.
It's too bad you don't have a life, and could leave the rest of us alone to just have our own opinions. but no, you bitch, and bitch, and
lie, and bitch, and complain, and bitch, and get angry anyone disagrees with you, then you argue over nothing, then you bitch, and peck and peck endless.
You are the woodpecker, woodypeckerhead. You is what you is, and you'll apparently never grow up.
