What is really disturbing to me is the reasoning behind it:
“We concluded that in order to create a more welcoming environment to a diverse community we’re going to forgo saying the Pledge of Allegiance before every meeting,” Council Member Tim Brausen said ahead of the vote.
Why would reciting the pledge of allegiance in our own country be offensive to anyone?

And not only that - they want to get rid of the electoral college, giving the illegals a far greater impact of control of elections, and they want to flood the U.S. Supreme Court with more judges as soon as they can get control of the senate and presidency, and stack it with another 6 or 7 leftwing activist corrupt sombeitch judges.

It's not really about giving illegals the right to vote, that's just lip service. It's really about the delegates in the electoral college. If Cali gets 10 more delegates or some other liberal places can dig out a few more, lights out for conservatives.
