Actually Tex I take this post serious because I believe the National Review to be a pretty respectable outfit, certainly better than most. The takeaway from the article was this:

But it’s not so easy to dismiss the same charge as it applies to Jeffrey Epstein – or the significant possibility that Trump, like Clinton, may have been closer to Epstein’s now-infamous sexual abuses than he lets on.
Trump certainly was no saint but I did read when he found out that Epstein had made some unwanted sexual advances to a female employee at Mar a Lago that he banned Epstein. Probably the coziest of them all with Epstein was Bill Clinton. The last sentence I underlined does concern me. They may be able to dig up some dirt on Trump to use against him politically even if he did nothing that was illegal? I think Epsetin is in big trouble but I believe if they offer him any breaks at all it would be if he has anything on Trump to offer it up. Kind of like they did with Manafort and Cohen and putting the squeeze on them to go after Trump.

a serious comment doesn't contain a serious reasoned response. Just because a LOT of famous people knew Epstein,
doesn't mean they were guilty by association. You need a get a legit clue about SOMETHING.
