The thing I'm "harping on"? You mean the central talking point in this entire back and forth?

Hard to make claims about what this guy did and didn't believe when you refuse to read the document where he lays out his belief.

    Looks like it's posted here

I know you're just popping in here to troll and not contribute anything, but this by definition a terrorist. It may be hard for you to grasp because he looks like you, but he's a terrorist.

What is the point you want to make Woody? Without looking up the definition of a terrorist you might be right this murderer is a domestic terrorist like a Tim McVeigh but what I doubt is if he belongs to any terrorist group who sponsored this attack. The fact he is in custody though we should get all the questions answered.

    - DH said he wasn't a terrorist

    - I already posted the definition of terrorism

    - this is by definition terrorism and he is a terrorist

    The point is pretty clear

Well, I'm glad to see that you've magically discovered the concept of "nuance" only when it's a white guy blowing away Hispanics because his liberal ideology tells him to fear a "Hispanic invasion'...

The fact of the matter is the guy is evil. You  and the liberal media are trying to pretend this guy checks all the boxes of a stereotype right wing white supremacist who is brainwashed with right wing white supremacist views. He doesn't check off all those boxes in fact some of his views listed in that manifesto are left wing progressive views. You don't want to hear that but the truth is what it is.

If we want to talk about toning down rhetoric I am fine with that but as usual you liberals have your blinders on not seeing your own hateful rhetoric that has lead to violence. All the attacks on ICE agents has likely sprung from the rhetoric of the left and comparing detention camps to concentration camps. All the Trump Derangement Syndrome attacks against Trump supporters has come from the inflammatory language used by the left against this president. Same goes with the left wing nut who tried to kill all those republican congressman was likely influenced by the rhetoric from the left. Sorry you can't have it both ways. Everyone should tone down the rhetoric and both sides are guilty of it, not just one side.

You and other right wingers on here seem to have lost the plot of what i've been going on about this whole thread. Any time an illegal immigrant kills an innocent person, he's "Woody's illegal immigrant(s)". Anytime someone does some questionable or horrible shit and happens to be a liberal or a Democrat, you and other right wingers on here paint liberal posters on here and all liberals in with a broad brush as if the fact that someone voted Democrat in the past that we automatically agree with or condone their actions.

But, when someone who's a right-wing, white supremacist blows away a bunch of latino/latina people because of a supposed "hispanic invasion", you and others on here decide that now is the appropriate time for nuanced discussions about political rhetoric and violence. I've simply been pointing out the hypocrisy.

Look, you're beginning to tire me out with all of your cognitive dissonance on this. One moment you're saying that attacks against Trump supporters and republicans is coming from inflammatory political language from the left, and then you turn around and pretend that Trump's and other Republican's anti-immigrant rhetoric has little to nothing to do with a white guy shooting and targeting hispanics almost exclusively because he fears a "hispanic  invasion". So which is it? If political rhetoric inspires violence, then there's no way you can deny a connection between Trump's rhetoric and this shooting.

In fact, lets put you to the test:

Washington Times: Dayton shooter reportedly supported gun control, Elizabeth Warren, and socialism

So, OBF, you tell me: Is Elizabeth Warren and her rhetoric responsible in some way for this dirt bag shooting up people in Dayton? If so, there's no way you can deny Trump and other GOPers' rhetoric being partially responsible for the El Paso shooting as well.

Is this murderer so right wing?..from what I read he is all over the map neither conservative or liberal..he is a nutcase

You're wanting everybody to tone down their rhetoric while calling me and others here "liberals with [our] blinders on" in the same breath. Amazing...

If you cannot acknowledge the hateful rhetoric on your side than you are either ignorant or dishonest.

I can point to specific hateful things from the left that likely has inspired violence such as referring to detention camps as concentration camps. Are you telling me that calling it an invasion when thousands of illegal immigrants are breaking down barriers and illegally entering into a county as an invasion is hate speech? Not seeing it. Give me some specific examples and I will answer it but just referring to illegal immigration as being an invasion is telling the truth, nothing hateful about it.

Found out the murderer in Dayton was hailing satan on twitter and wanted to kill as many people as possible to get to hell quicker. There is your answer for that "dirt bag"

Trump declares 'hate has no place in our country,' as Dems demand Congress return from summer recess

" Trump pointed to a mental illness problem in the U.S., calling the shooters "really very seriously mentally ill."

That is the FACT. The dems need to stop with their revolutionary corrupt crap, and try to actually solve the problem, and stop with the "don't let a crisis go to waste" in their bid for permanent political power over America.

  • I suppose woody would think he and his peers are a threat to society.

this mentally ill person was brilliant at math...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Kaczynski

oh, crap. he went to Michigan.......

"In 1962, Kaczynski enrolled at the University of Michigan, where he earned his master's and doctoral degrees in mathematics in 1964 and 1967, respectively. Michigan was not his first choice for postgraduate education; he had also applied to the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Chicago, both of which accepted him but offered him no teaching position or financial aid. Michigan offered him an annual grant of $2,310 (equivalent to $19,343 in 2018) and a teaching post.[24]"

  • Has Trump called this terrorism yet? Remember when you would all lose your shit when Obama didn't immediately call things terrorism?

  • Keep deflecting Cal. I realize it must be hard seeing yourself in a terrorist

  • We need to focus on mental illness, folks, not the continual leftwing political harpy about maybe 150 million good, decent American people who have guns, to take away their GOD GIVEN rights to have their guns.

solve the problem, stop trying to gain politically from it.

Today’s shooting in El Paso, Texas was not only tragic, it was an act of cowardice. I know that I stand with everyone in this Country to condemn today’s hateful act. There are no reasons or excuses that will ever justify killing innocent people. Melania and I send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the great people of Texas.
