  • With Beckham, Landry, Higgins he is battling for one of the last spots in the reciever room. With so many young players playing well I say package him with some picks and try and get trent William's. They need help at the position and I doubt they will get anything as good as a young promising receiver and a mid round pick

That would be a major coup, but I can't see Skins going for it, as far as Calloway goes. But Williams would be an incredible upgrade to OL.

  • Which should leave some to wonder how Joe Haden has gone all of these years without getting busted.. He smokes more pot than anybody...

    That was Adderol , yeah...

  • NFL needs to change its rules on pot. It's a hell of a lot safer than booze and it helps players stay off pain meds.

    not PEDs...

    Same result.

Not sure too many folks would disagree with that. I expect it to be a big talking point with the new CBA  Even non-weed people aren’t too bent out of shape about it.

smokin weed only enhances calling the pizza dude..than sprinkling smashed Doritos on top of it..your the only member that can fix it in edit post..we run a first class board rookie😉

  • Set weed and opinions on that to the side and you still have a poor decision and behavioral pattern that’s beyond concerning.

  • Hollywood Higgins next man up. Not worried. This was from an incident last year apparently before the season, so I guess his appeals ran out and now theyu're suspending him. Not worried. Weed ain't shit either, im more worried about PED users

Ah that explains why Freddie said something about it being a thing before he was with the Browns.

  • Hopefully he doesn't pull a Martavis Bryant after returning -- even without the suspension he's at best our #4. When he returns he might be our 5th..

It's like Josh Gordon all over again. My God, how is that even possible?

  • They test for alcohol too. Just ask Gordon. He got busted for a beer. Last I heard, it’s legal. Pot may have a ways to go yet

  • this reads more like..1) Callaway admits messing up "driving back" 2.) around the time Monkin reported Cab as "out of shape"..Callaway & Browns knew at that point of pending suspension from nfl..3) Cab was forced by browns to tell his teammates yesterday, before nfl announced..

  • And some thought Gordon was irreplaceable...

  • Just cut ties with Callaway now , Dorsey took a chance and gave him an opportunity with his past history . Antonio didn’t respect Dorsey enough considering the opportunity he was given

It would definitely set a precedent that professionalism is expected by the Browns organization, that this isn't the same Browns team that gives Josh Gordon chance after chance.

  • Honestly we don't need him, or that kind of baggage hanging around the locker room. The dorse should take the next few weeks and try to trade him. Someone will take him.

Hollywood already took Callaway's spot.      Agreed on the latter.

    @icecube said:

As of right now, just as bad as results as PEDs. And now he's gonna be randomly tested for drugs the rest of his career, and he's shown he can't stay off the weed, so his career could be over.

Depends on the next CBA, where weed will absolutely be addressed.

I agree.  I don't think it will be on the list of banned substances.

  • If there is any good in this is it opens a roster spot for Guiseppi if he keeps looking good.  At least a 4 game opening.  At that point we will be better able to decide on who sticks and who is gone once Calloway comes back.  I doubt we will cut him.
