WSS isn't the mod I was referring to. I know that him and Cleve weren't best buddies on here. I've had my own disagreements with WSS on occasion, but he's been pretty fair to me in the few DM's I've had with him and he doesn't strike me as one to ban someone just because he doesn't like them.
I'd be curious to hear from one of the mods about their reasoning on Cleve being banned. Everyone on here -myself included - shit talk and argue on here, but if we're banning people now for shit talking and arguing with people, I'm keen to know why certain posters are being singled out for banning over others. I know for a fact that certain posters on here who are pretty egregious with their own behavior are personal friends with some of the mods on here, so it isn't out of the realm of possibility for me to think that some people on here are treated differently because of their friendships with the mods.

1 I am far from being the top administrator. And yes I do have some members of this board who I consider personal friends. Ironically one of them who has played with me on stage and I have visited his home and plan a recording project with was issued a lifetime ban. We all know who that was. That means being my pal doesn't buy you jack shit.
2 Cleve had at least 21 warning points only two of which from me and that was for posting the pornography sites even after I p.m. him and ask him not to.
3 the alt boogeyman is bullshit. The real administrators aren't stupid and if they're getting complaints from three or four guys from the same IP address they'd be smarter enough to know. I'm also friends with the main administrators and one that issued the most warning points is by no means a conservative.
4 it has been announced that anybody that complains directly to the administration is going to get a time out. I don't know if Cleve did that but he did a lot of whining about how mistreated he was.
5 yes JB plenty of the guys here go a little bit over the top. Can you honestly tell me any member of this board right or left who is close to being as vulgar obnoxious or abusive as Cleve? Also if anybody sees a truly vulgar post like he regularly gave us let me know and I'll pull it down.
6 by the way I don't believe anybody here is really an alt and I'm not going to start Banning people just because somebody doesn't agree with their politics, left or right.

They have played this game so many times over the years, different folks, too. The left tends to be morally bankrupt alpha-male wannabes who demand to dominate all narratives and conversations. You see it on Fox News. They won't stop talking over other people, when those other people FINALLY get a chance to take their turn at speaking. Except they get over-talked by the other leftie that rambled on, and then constantly interrupts the opposing non-lefty person.

On this forum, they "leave the board until they get to be the majority dominant opinion" again, when they fail to ridicule a conservative off the board, or even when they fail to get a conservative to get angry and respond in some inappropriate way, so they can get said conservative banned. Doesn't matter they said far worse to get the conservative to react angrily in kind.
It's a weird game of control. Liberals/socialists/communists/progressives have some kind of sick need to control. You can often find them in church groups, homeowners associations, online forums, etc.
They even work to pass laws to shut people up, leave them with no voice, ostracize and legislate them into silence and out of their jobs, if they can.
