AWESOME WV! Great job with these. The only thing additionally I'd like to see would be the addition of a pewter/silver/grey into the uni's. I'll pm you so I can also get the template!
Thanks! It's so damn nice to have others that want to see change in the uniforms. For years I tried and felt as if I was fighting an uphill battle. Good stuff.

Shep - I had actually already sent a few excerpts from some past threads to the Browns marketing dept and have followed up with them. I will also send this along with the pictures attached for them to review. There is definitely a sense coming from them that they are heavily looking into change.

Favorite part of the "new uni": The football "B" logo on the sleeves/shoulders in lieu of the 5 stripes. Outstanding job, WV.
Don't care too much for the curvey line thingy on the jerseys. Looks way too much like the mules for me.

I agree with Leg on the B logo concept on the sleeve. That's sweet looking. That's the sort of logo idea I think the Browns need to incorporate but that current B is weak and generic. A strong and distinctive B logo would look good on the sleeve or on the top of the shoulder pad, if the current stripes were to stay.
I also agree with Leg that the piping is too much. There's updating and then there's trying to look "futuristic" and that weird Donkey stripe is too much for me.
I love your use of color around the numbers. That's the kind of subtle updating that I think still looks classy.
If you do another version, I humbly suggest incorporating the basic design from that other thread, with the brown pants and thick white and orange stripe.

I'm not sure if I'm more amazed at how good those are, or how in the world the Browns have never even tried something like this.
OK, one more thing I'm amazed at, WV has produced something that we are all not only OK with, but we are all slobbering over.

Yeah, looking at it closer, what really makes it work is the orange around the numbers. That would look good around the name, too.
That and the thick stripe on the pants really make it seem updated. Really cool.

These jerseys are flat out amazing. They aren't understated but at the same time manage to keep the Browns tradition intact. I love the pinstripes on the jersey and pants too. It's a sleek and modern look for us. Bravo WV!

In fact, there's no reason (other than Reebok, that is) that couldn't be done this year. That would be a great change to start with.

I think an Orange Jersey in the style of your white one would look awesome with the brown jersey stripes, only instead of orange trim, since the jersey is orange, the trim could be white

Mangini is 1-0 against the Steelers in a year the Steelers finished 10-6 and the Jets went 4-12.

We have more NFL championships than you, give it up, we are a better all time franchise than you, we have a much better city than you as well, now go home and bang your sister like you were going to anyway
To stay on topic, I think we should mass e-mail the front office with these concepts (AS WELL AS AN ORANGE JERSEY PLEASE). Theylle definitely get the picture then, maybe we could get someone at one of the press conferences to hand mangini a posterboard with these photos on it, ten we can have people petitioning at camp, and games

The Browns are one of only five teams to have never appeared in a Super Bowl. The other four teams are the Detroit Lions, the Houston Texans, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the New Orleans Saints. Once again nobody cares about Championships won back in the late 1940's and the 1950's. There were like 6 teams in each conference too for crying out loud back then and nothing like it was in the 1970's and in today's NFL where they are 32 teams and 16 in each conference which makes it much tougher to win a championship. The NFL doesnt even recognize those championships. It's really really pathetic that you and guys like Zombo on here have to bring up championships won before the Super Bowl era when nobody probably even on these boards was alive to witness it or remember it for that matter.
